Is it a bird? Is it a plane? Nope, it’s the crocketship, making its final landing on the Crocs Intergalactic Tour. Starting all the way back in June, we joined forces with Crocs, Inc., and in partnership with Digitas North America and PMCI, quickly jumped on new features that dropped in Fortnite v28.10 to bring one of the first third party branded NPC (Non-Player Character) integration into Fortnite. Switchbbitz, the lovable little fellow made of Crocs’ super-soft Croslite material, and decked out in the brand’s iconic Jibbitz charms, started his intergalactic tour.   First stop, Big Inflatable Deathrun and Window Wars, from the immensely talented developer BonnieKiwi. Always putting our “gameplay first” mantra above everything else, we made sure Switchbbitz, Crocs and the campaign were integrated into the core gameplay. Using traditional visuals, but never relying on them to communicate a point. Players always prefer to play.   In August, the engines on the crocketship fired once again, and landed in Heroes: Go Goated, from the behemoths at Good Gamers. Where we put Switchbbitz right into the action, in one of the most intense, and most popular games on the platform.   And then 2 weeks ago, Switchbbitz set up shop in Ship Wars from Fortnite’s premier build team: Beyond Creative. In one of the deepest, and highest production value brand integrations ever on the platform. Crocs brought an entire space based content update to the game. With custom cutscenes, models, VFX, and even a crocs jetpack… And, based on the map being featured in Epic’s “Most Favourited” category, we delivered branded content that an audience actively welcomed, and wanted to consume more of.   So here we are, where will Switchbbitz appear next? What has he got planned? Only he knows. But wherever he goes, he can be proud of working alongside some of the best developers in Fortnite, being Fortnite’s first branded NPC, and being loved by players, in what we think is the longest running Fortnite brand integration so far.   If you’re interested in bringing your brand or IP to life in an immersive media platform like Epic Games #Fortnite or #Roblox, then a DM is the way to make that happen. #UEFN #BrandedEntertainment #ImmersiveMedia #UGC
