Burned-out employees, frustrated by increased workloads and hybrid work debates, may leave not just for new opportunities but to make a statement. Experts warn that dissatisfaction is growing, fueled by toxic environments, lack of empathy, and unmet needs like connection and safety. Employees, particularly Gen Z, are increasingly unwilling to tolerate outdated workplace cultures.
