S/4HANA upgrades should be the easiest ERP project you do. Think about it: You're already running SAP and have been for many years The Fiori UI is 100 times better than the old GUI And you have an opportunity to remove custom processes developed by people who retired years ago Yet company's struggle with them. Indeed a large O&G company recently cancelled an ongoing S/4HANA project! There is a famous quote by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry: "Perfection is obtained when there is nothing more to remove" Yet System Integrators (SI's) are still incentivized to add code, not remove it Look, a little customization can go a very long way But re-hashing old processes just because, is not a valid reason anymore SI's and project teams should be incentivized based on lines of code removed, not added What do you think? #S/4HANA, #S/4Upgrade, #SAP-PPM, #ePPM
