It’s been obvious in the UK for a while that the Apprenticeship system has moved too far from those most in need of entry level pathways. Waiting on the forthcoming detail, but for now pleased to see the new Government put a focus on Pre Apprenticeships and Foundation Apprenticeships. Good to see the new government making a commitment to revamping the apprenticeship system yesterday. A first report from Skills England has shown that, across the UK, almost 1 in 10, roles are in critical demand, with more than 90% being in roles that require training or education New plans include replacing the Apprenticeship Levy and greater flexibility for both employers and learners. Golden Training Services welcome the Government announcements yesterday to reform the #apprenticeshiplevy and the refocus on #apprenticeships towards younger learners, including new #foundation apprenticeships and in some cases shorter apprenticeships.
