Last Friday, Mikkel & Jacob Blegvad presented our take on branding to +70 leaders within the EGN Danmark Network. And no, it was not a design presentation, it was about branding as a commercial driver. MAUDEs ambition is to make branding into an unfair competitive advantage and Mikkel and Jacob provided a hands-on perspective on how to move from having a brand to using a brand, from being relevant to creating revenue. The presentation took the participants through 3 overall steps: 🎯 Clarifying your position in the market by understanding your commercial value space ↕ Simplifying your brand into a consolidated description from positioning to value propositions 🔊 Amplifying your brand by translating your value into customer-relevant messaging Thank you to EGN for hosting us and to all participants for being engaged throughout the entire hour (4 drop-offs, which is a pretty good "view-through rate" if you ask me) and asking relevant questions!
This Friday, Mikkel Emil Lindgaard and Jacob Blegvad had the pleasure of presenting at the EGN Danmark studio in front of more than 70 commercial leaders, diving deep into strategic branding and its practical implications. Over the course of an hour we explored key frameworks and questions we use with our clients, followed by an interesting Q&A session. One key takeaway: 66% of the attendees mentioned their biggest challenge in branding is opening up their flanks to competitors on price and differentiation when they don’t have a strong enough value position in the minds of their customers. Not having a solid brand stronghold leaves them vulnerable much earlier in the decision-making process than they expected. It’s not just about mitigating price pressure at the point of sale - it’s about standing out from the start. Thanks to Katrine for having us - it was a pleasure! 🙏
