Our journal article titled 'Exploring the perception of ethnic migrants in Kolkata, India: A comparative study using sentiment analysis' recently got published in the Journal of Urban Affairs by Taylor & Francis Group. This article investigates the adaptive capacities of ethnic migrants in urban areas, focusing on third and fourth-generation Chinese and Anglo-Indian residents in Kolkata, India, in the post-COVID era. Using sentiment analysis on data from semi-structured interviews, it examines the emotional undertones and intercultural interactions of these communities. The study identifies positive and negative sentiments related to their experiences and sense of belonging, providing insights into their integration and vitality in the city. Here, we have used R programming for conducting the sentiment analysis.
