Culture is part of entertainment and leisure instead of being a bed of knowledge per se, art in many aspects is subject to the rules of the market and the trends that sometimes mark the symbolic goods of human societies. Infected by cultural popularization, we must consider that the work of art sublimated by history a little more than a few hundred years ago has been diluted with the rest of consumer objects thanks to the agents that produce public opinion. However, most individuals do not have the perceptual tools corresponding to the new hyperspace generated by the complex mutation that objective culture has reached; cultural exploration constitutes one more element to communicate, challenge and celebrate the human experience. Perhaps we should ask ourselves, what are we looking for in art at this moment? Do we need to rethink the value of the art trade?
