Delighted to share a recent academic milestone. I have successfully completed a two-semester certification programme in Introduction to Quantum Computing by The Coding School. This comprehensive course covered a wide array of intriguing subjects, such as quantum mechanics, Cirq coding, qubits, the Bloch sphere, quantum gates, circuits, and measurements, Grover's algorithm, and quantum protocols. Furthermore, I explored multi-qubit states, quantum chemistry, quantum hardware, quantum algorithms, and experimental metrics and implementation. This introductory course to quantum computing and quantum mechanics offered immense potential. The virtual course featured live instruction from world-renowned professors from prestigious institutions like MIT, Oxford, and Stanford. I gained a solid foundation in quantum computing, including quantum mechanics, quantum circuits, and quantum algorithms and protocols, while becoming proficient in Microsoft’s quantum computing language, Q#. This experience set the stage for further learning as I continue with a one-year advanced course from Qubit x Qubit in collaboration with Google Quantum AI. Here, I will delve deeper into quantum computing, design quantum algorithms, and culminate with a functional quantum algorithm coding in Cirq.

After a year of participating in various programs, I have significantly deepened my understanding of quantum computing. The programs I have attended include "Introduction to Quantum Computing with Google Quantum AI," "IBM Quantum Explorer 2023," "QClass 23/24 (Autumn Semester)," and the "IBM Qiskit Global Summer School 2023." Through these experiences, I have gained extensive knowledge in the field of quantum computing and quantum mechanics. My learning journey covered fundamental concepts such as qubits, quantum gates, and quantum circuits, as well as more advanced topics like quantum measurements, programming quantum circuits with Cirq, the mathematics of quantum states, gates, and measurements, and an introduction to quantum algorithms and protocols. Additionally, I explored quantum key distribution, noise mitigation, quantum entanglement and Bell states, and experimental metrics and implementation. Currently, my research focus is on the spin of fermions, such as electrons. I am excited to continue exploring and expanding my expertise in this field. This post includes an infographic on Spin Hamiltonian Simulation, which is a part of my ongoing research.
