The world needs fresh ideas and a new type of politics and politicians, representing mankind as a whole and each of us as equals instead of fragmented political interests! We have to grow together in order to urgently address the issues that impact all of us like conflict, climate change, inequality and forced migration together. This we can only do without any dominance, as equals. Collectively in Solidarity. www.convergence.ngo & www.pax.ngo
We're living through some dark and confusing days, make no mistake. But amidst all the craziness there is #hope for communities to come together and build understanding. See BBC article link below. . . . I will add my personal view on what's happening: Is it a coincidence? Over the past year or so we've experienced the worst levels of indifference to daily human suffering in Gaza, Sudan and elsewhere. We got used to turning a blind eye to irresponsible and blatant racism & islamophobia from elected officials and leaders. And in the process we contributed to emboldening far-right lunatics both abroad and closer to home by providing discursive and even legal cover for their crimes. Through our refusal to be outspoken against the worst of crimes (i.e. genocide) we have all contributed in one way or another to normalizing outright criminal behavior and complete disregard of law and order, locally and internationally. We need deep, critical reflections to do better, as individuals, as institutions, and as a country. One of my favourite quotes is: "Solidarity is a verb". I may also add "Hope is a verb". . . . Killing of civilians by forced starvation in Gaza. When we talk about human rights, we must first talk about equality among all people in the world. When the international community demands human rights, there should be no different standards for this claim. All people and in all regions of the world must living the freedom and justice. The international community stands by and watches and it does not intervene in a real way to prevent the crimes committed by the Zionists in the Gaza Strip. Israel, United States, and all their allies in the world are partners in the crimes of genocide that occur against the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip. The attached video shows one of the daily cases in which Palestinians in Gaza have been killed due to forced starvation practiced by Israel there against Palestinian civilians. #humanrights #justice #health #food #ceasefire #freedom

Why Arab World doesn't execute its fuel blocking experience after about one year slaughtering of Palestinians? During the major Arab-Israeli conflicts in the 20th century, such as the 1967 Six-Day War and the 1973 Yom Kippur War, several Arab nations enacted oil embargoes and fuel blockades as a strategic weapon against Israel and its allies. The most significant example was the 1973 oil crisis, where the Organization of Arab Petroleum Exporting Countries (OAPEC) led by Saudi Arabia imposed an embargo on oil exports to the United States, Canada, Japan, and several Western European countries. This was done in response to the West's support for Israel during the Yom Kippur War. The goals of these Arab oil and fuel blockades were multifaceted: Economic pressure - The aim was to inflict economic damage on Israel and its allies by restricting their access to critical energy supplies. Political leverage - The fuel blockades were intended to compel Western governments to reconsider their pro-Israel foreign policies. Disruption of military operations - Restricting fuel availability was seen as a way to undermine Israel's military capabilities and war efforts. The Arab oil embargo of 1973 in particular had a major global impact, leading to an energy crisis, skyrocketing oil prices, and economic recession in many countries. This demonstrated the substantial geopolitical leverage the Arab states could wield through controlling vital energy resources. However, the long-term effectiveness of these fuel blockades as a strategic weapon was limited. Israel was eventually able to find alternative sources of fuel, and the global backlash against the embargoes also damaged the Arab states' international standing and relationships. Overall, the experience highlighted the importance of energy security and the potential for oil and fuel to be used as political and economic weapons, especially in protracted regional conflicts like the Arab-Israeli dispute.
Raneen is a Palestinian child in the West Bank. Living the trauma of Israel rampaging, invading, and destroying neighborhoods and livelihoods. Patience has limits and governments cannot keep their citizens under control any longer. The US and it’s colony must understand that the region is on the verge of exploding. End the occupation now. Because this is the only viable path for survival. #gaza #westbank #occupation

If this is not clear genocide, then what is? When the main targets are children and women, what other description can express this other than a horiffic, appaling and dreadful genocide. Do not stop talking about the ongoing events in Gaza, as this is the least we can do. #StandWithPalestine #StopGenocide #StopIsrael #SaveGaza #Gaza #IsraelCrimes #SavePalestine #Palestine #GazaChildren #CeaseFireNow #GazaBleeds #EndTheSilence

When we see the genocide in Gaza, we can say Human rights are suspended, when we consider the occupation's history, we can say, the Human rights were dead and slaughtered with the occupation of Palestine Unfortunately, many people around the world are becoming more and more racist and extremist. The values of Humanity and peace are starving just like Gaza people are. The main reason is manipulation and brainwashing. Manipulation is when media rape your mind and make you a complete brainwashing, to make you blind and indifferent toward injustice. Let's fight the injustice and the unfair system allowing the genocide in Gaza and crimes in Palestine to continue since 1917. Let's fight fake news and propaganda. Nice to think and plan for better future, but the most urgent success now must be: stop the genocide in Gaza. People first. Corrupted politicians and corrupted media are the cancer killing both people and truth. _________ Be Human, be responsible, be kind, be respectful. #ceasefirenow #stopgenocide #savekids #stopstarvation #endoccupation #stopapartheid #freePalestine #endoppression #removesettlments #endcolonization #endblockade

Humanity must unite to end the genocide of Palestinians in Gaza. Solidarity and justice are our guiding principles in this mission. Genocide is a humanitarian catastrophe, transcending religious or ethnic boundaries. We must recognise it as a shared human problem, demanding our collective conscience and action. Our intellectuals lead the way, advocating for a global perspective on such crises. Their voices remind us that indifference is not an option. Let us strive for accountability and legal repercussions for the culprits. Only through justice can we hope to prevent future atrocities. #HumanRights #EndGenocide #JusticeForPalestine #GlobalSolidarity #HumanityFirst
