Hello everyone, As I roll up to the 7th week of my E.L.I.T.E. internship at Capgemini, I wanted to create a post to highlight my incredible journey so far. As an E.L.I.T.E. intern at Capgemini, I’ve had the opportunity to delve into exciting projects and work alongside talented professionals in the industry. The experience has been enriching, challenging, and incredibly rewarding. As part of my internship, I have been working on creating potential offerings for Banking clients by exploring the potential use cases of Gen AI, one of the most cutting-edge and trending technologies today. Working under the guidance of Hardik Budhiraja (He-His) on this task has been a fantastic experience, and I am thoroughly enjoying every moment of it. My internship experience so far has provided me with a lot of learning and insights. Starting a journey in the corporate environment may seem daunting but I have been able to identify a few skills that everyone should focus on developing to be able to hit the ground running: • Dynamic Adaptability: The ability to adapt to new requirements and rapidly acquire knowledge in diverse domains can be a key skill that can help set yourself apart. Being able to adapt and think quickly on your feet can be instrumental in helping you tackle unfamiliar challenges with confidence, providing you tremendous opportunities for personal and professional growth. • Effective Storyboarding: Mastering the art of effective storyboarding has been a key takeaway from my internship. One should focus on developing the ability to craft compelling narratives that guide the audience through a coherent sequence of ideas, ensuring clarity, engagement, and alignment with the intended message. This can help in structuring your ideas in a visually appealing and organized manner, enhancing the overall effectiveness of your presentations, and increasing the chances of success across all avenues. • Power of Open Collaboration: The culture of open collaboration at Capgemini has been welcoming part of my internship. Adopting a culture of open collaboration can be instrumental in fostering innovation and driving impactful outcomes. By embracing diverse perspectives and working together towards common goals, you can harness the collective intelligence of your team and other colleagues around you to deliver exceptional results. I am immensely grateful for the opportunities and insights that this E.L.I.T.E. internship has provided me so far. I'm excited to share that I joined Accenture as an intern in March, and the journey so far has been incredibly enriching! #Day 1: The experience kicked off with the excitement of setting up my laptop and getting everything ready to dive into the world of technology. Structured Learning Journey: The internship is meticulously structured into three key phases: 1. Primers: We began with foundational courses, which provided a solid base in essential concepts and skills. 2. Techgenics: The next phase, Techgenics, introduced us to more advanced technologies and tools, pushing us to expand our technical knowledge and capabilities. 3. Training with Industry Experts: We had the privilege of learning directly from industry experts, gaining insights that are invaluable for our future careers. Project Shadowing: After completing the training phases, we moved on to project shadowing. This hands-on experience allowed us to apply what we had learned and observe real-world projects in action. Assessments: Throughout the internship, review exams were conducted after each phase—Primers, Techgenics, and the expert-led training—to ensure we fully grasped the material and were ready to move forward.
