So my Christmas countdown begins!!! Join me over the next 6 weeks for hints and tips for what to organise ready for the festive season… 🎄 Create a Holiday Budget and Gift List ✅ Set a Budget: Establish how much you want to spend overall to avoid overspending. Break it down into categories like gifts, decorations, food and travel. ✅ Make a Gift List: List everyone you plan to buy for and brainstorm potential gift ideas. You’ll have time to look for sales, check online stock, and plan any DIY gifts if needed. Speak to family and friends to avoid gifting duplicates or even group together to buy lager gifts. 🎄 Plan Holiday Gatherings and Menus ✅ Make Guest Lists and Invitations: Decide who you’d like to invite if you’re hosting any gatherings (Christmas dinner, a party etc.). Send out invitations or even “Save the Date” notices - people get busy!!! ✅ Plan Menus: Start planning your holiday meals and gatherings. With the menu set early, you can gradually buy non-perishable ingredients, and even test out new recipes in advance. 🎄 Organise Your Home for the Holidays ✅ Declutter and Deep Clean: Go through areas where you’ll be entertaining or setting up holiday decor, such as the living room and dining room, to create a clean canvas. ✅ Inventory Your Decorations: Check that your lights work and you have all the decor you want. This gives you time to replace or refresh items without the holiday rush. These early steps make for a smoother, more enjoyable holiday season! Book your free consultation today to discuss your November organisation goals. Whether you need a little guidance or want a complete overhaul, I'd love to work with you to create a home that's as beautiful and organised as you've always imagined.

My Feel Good Friday Post................ Is it to soon to mention Christmas? I have started my Christmas shopping, decided on the menu for Christmas day and started my food shopping list. Planning my diary to put up the Christmas Decorations and my festive table. One of my favourite things is dressing my table for Christmas with flowers, candles, crackers and lots of sparkle. A Friday leading up to Christmas often brings a festive, cozy excitement, as it’s the end of the workweek and the holiday spirit is beginning to peak. Here’s what many of us find most enjoyable about Fridays in the Christmas season: Festive Atmosphere: Offices, homes, and streets are decorated with Christmas lights and ornaments, creating a warm, inviting ambiance. For many, there’s an added charm in the hustle and bustle of festive décor. Holiday Traditions and Treats: Christmas markets often open in November, and the chance to indulge in seasonal treats like mulled wine, mince pies, or a festive coffee adds an extra lift. Social Gatherings: Fridays are perfect for holiday get-togethers, whether with colleagues at a festive office gathering, a friends’ dinner, or just cozy family time. Many enjoy the opportunity to connect and celebrate with loved ones. Feel-Good Activities: The season is also a popular time for giving, so many people volunteer or participate in holiday charity events, adding a feel-good element to the season. Holiday Music and Movies: Listening to Christmas songs and watching holiday classics after a busy week can be the perfect way to relax and get into the spirit of the season. Planning for the Holidays: With the weekend ahead, many enjoy planning and shopping for gifts, decorating, or writing holiday cards, which can bring an added sense of joy and anticipation. Whether it’s relaxing after a busy week, seeing festive lights, or simply embracing the season, Fridays leading up to Christmas are a time to enjoy all the cozy traditions and moments that make the holidays special. Have an AMAZING weekend!

🎄**Real vs. Artificial Christmas Trees: Which is Safer for Your Holiday Cheer?**🎄 The holidays are here, and for many, it’s time to decide between a real or artificial Christmas tree! Both options bring festive joy, but they come with unique safety considerations. Let’s break it down! 🌟 Real Trees: ✨ Pros: Fresh pine scent, a natural touch, and recyclable! ⚠️ Safety Tips: Keep it hydrated! A dry tree can become a fire hazard. Water your tree daily to prevent it from drying out. Place it away from heat sources like fireplaces, radiators, or candles. Always check your string lights for frayed wires or loose connections before decorating. 🌟 Artificial Trees: ✨ Pros: Reusable, mess-free, and often pre-lit for convenience. ⚠️ Safety Tips: Ensure your tree is labeled “fire-resistant” for added safety. Avoid older trees with pre-installed lights that may not meet current safety standards. Unplug the lights when you’re not home or when going to bed. 🛑 Common Safety Reminders for Both Types: Never overload electrical outlets with lights. Use LED lights that emit less heat. Ensure your tree has a sturdy base to prevent tipping. Always supervise pets and little ones around the tree to avoid accidents. Whichever you choose, your Christmas tree can be the centerpiece of a joyful, safe holiday season. ✨🎁 Let’s spread holiday cheer responsibly! 🌟 Share your favorite holiday safety tip below or show us your tree setup! 📸 #RealVsFake #HolidaySafety #ChristmasTree #livelifewevegotthis

No festive season without decorations 🤩 Besides Xmas vibe playlists this is usually a big part of how people get into the holiday spirit. But did you know that when—and how—people decorate can vary widely from culture to culture? Let’s take a look at how different parts of the world approach this important part of the season: 🇵🇭 Philippines: Known for having one of the longest Christmas seasons, decorations in the Philippines often start as early as September (love it 😍 ) The highlight is the parol, a star-shaped lantern symbolizing the Christmas story and the triumph of light over darkness. It’s a beautiful tradition that brings warmth and joy to the season, even months before Christmas Day. 🇺🇸 United States and Europe: In many countries, families begin decorating with Christmas trees and lights in late November or early December. The festive spirit kicks off in the weeks leading up to Christmas, creating a sense of excitement and togetherness. But in places like Finland, the tradition of decorating often starts later, after St. Lucia’s Day (December 13), focusing on a more intimate, calm lead-up to Christmas. 🇲🇽 Mexico: In Mexico, festive decorations start during the Advent period and carry through to the New Year. Families celebrate with nativity scenes (Nacimiento) and piñatas, symbolizing joy, family, and community spirit. The decorations often reflect the strong cultural and religious ties that make Christmas in Mexico a deeply meaningful time. So , why am I sharing this post with you? For understanding the timing and style of decorations across cultures can help us navigate cross-cultural events, respect different traditions, and appreciate how others create festive atmospheres. Whether it’s the early start of the Philippines or the cozy Finnish Christmas, decorations are a universal sign of celebration—just celebrated at different times in different places! How do you decorate for the holidays? Does your tradition start early, or do you wait until closer to the big day? Share with me in the comments! 💬
