Cirplus on the road again - this time to FACHPACK! Our Chief Product Officer, Hannes Schwager, and Senior Key Account Manager, Anna Konokova, attended one of Europe's leading trade fairs for packaging, technology and processes in Nuremberg. They came prepared with materials and solutions for plastic packagers who want to prepare for the recycling #quotas of the Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (#PPWR). With the PPWR on the horizon, there is still considerable uncertainty in the industry, leading many companies to adopt a cautious wait-and-see approach. However, some forward-thinking companies such as DUO PLAST AG, Profol Europe and NEEMANN LiteFlexPACKAGING GmbH & Co. KG are taking proactive steps to lead the way. We look back on fruitful conversations with industry leaders and showcased our digital sourcing solutions for aggregating high quality Cirplus certified recycled #plastics. We also had important discussions with companies based in Asia as part of our expansion strategy, particularly as India's #recycling quotas for packaging come into force by 2025.

By transitioning from multicomponent construction to mono-material PP packaging decorated with IML labels, JOZO achieved full recyclability while maintaining shelf appeal. RecyClass B-score certification confirmed the packaging's circularity, marking a significant improvement from its previous partially recyclable state. Continuously striving for sustainability, SFA Packaging further enhanced their packaging with NextCycle IML™ technology.
