Going through the Shopify docs is always an insightful journey. I have explored and understood the Shopify AJAX APIs and Section Rendering API very closely, which are crucial for building custom features on Shopify themes debugging them too. Shopify AJAX APIs empower developers to add, change, update, and delete items from the cart, manage quantities, and handle notes and line item properties. Additionally, they provide the ability to fetch product JSON using the product handle and customize store search results with the predictive search API, whether accessing JSON or HTML. One of the most amazing features is the Shopify Section Rendering API. This API is incredibly efficient, saving a lot of time by updating the UI without reloading the page. Instead of dealing with the mess of DOM manipulation, you can simply fetch the markup and replace it. If you are a Shopify developer, you must explore these APIs if you haven't yet. Here is the link: https://lnkd.in/ge3Ei6yJ I personally love the Section Rendering API. What do you think about it? #shopifyworld #shopifydeveloper #ecommerceworld #jsworld #shopifyajaxapis #shopifydevdocs #shopifycartapis #shopify #keepcoding

The wrong call on your Shopify store theme can wreck your numbers. Trying to decide whether to save your Shopify theme or start from scratch? Here are 7 key things to audit: 1. Your theme base. 2. Page builder tools - they don’t age well. 3. Your design system. If it exists, how well is it applied? How well was it built? 4. Design best practices. Because bad practices are where good engineering decisions go to die. 5. JavaScript and CSS health. 6. Unused apps and third party scripts that are slowing you down. 7. Is your theme ready for 2025's platform changes, like Functions? Nail this, and you’ll know clearly what to do next. #shopify

Why Speed is Key to Your Shopify Store’s Success If your Shopify store isn’t loading quickly, you’re losing sales—simple as that. Here’s how you can fix it: - Image Compression Large images can slow down your store. Use tools like TinyPNG to reduce file size without losing quality. Your store will load faster, and your customers will stay longer. - Use Caching Caching saves parts of your store in a customer’s browser so they don’t have to wait for everything to reload on their next visit. Think of it as giving them a fast pass to skip the line! - Minify Code Clean up HTML, CSS, and JavaScript files to reduce the size of your code. This will make your store load faster and provide a smoother experience for users. Implement these strategies, and you'll see faster load times and higher conversions. #Ecommerce #Shopify #ConversionOptimization

🌐 Shopify Post-Purchase Extension Limitations: Room for Growth? Currently, Shopify's post-purchase extensions support only a select set of UI components. Standard HTML tags are off the table! you’re limited to the components in @Shopify/post-purchase-ui-extensions-react. While Shopify provides some flexibility through CSS, the current component options can feel restrictive if you need to organize and style information in specific ways. 🤔 My question to the Shopify team and the community: Is there any future roadmap update to expand Shopify’s UI component options in post-purchase extensions?
