🎃 Happy Halloween! 🎃 As we embrace the fun of Halloween, it's important to remember that unexpected surprises can happen—like injuries from pumpkin carving or trick-or-treating! To help medical practices navigate these spooky situations, we’ve compiled a list of 25 spooky ICD-10 codes for Halloween-related mishaps. 🎃👻 These codes not only ensure accurate billing but also help prevent revenue loss during a time when accidents are more likely to occur. Spooky thoughts on Halloween: 1) Clients who take bids from you who do not reach back out to review the proposal and act on a decision without your assistance! Wow, this happens all of the time. 2) People who meet with you, listen to what you say, and do their own thing sometimes buy or implement a service that may or may not fit their plans. 3) Listening to the breakfast group at the local coffee shop, when clients and prospects act on something from the "coffee talk." 4) In a time when people need to be educated and worked with to improve their situation, the industry still has a habit of agents or representatives still just selling someone. Each of the above has an unintended consequence. Spooky thoughts in the 4th quarter of the year. Maybe its time to connect to see how we can help you!

People, many of you are sending me hate-&-gyaan DMs for this post. To misquote a Greek philosopher: "Do NOT yap till you know the whole story." (That's precisly what I've been telling you all these days, Ms Hema Hazarika, and the sole purpose of this post was to explain what the Greek philosopher meant, when he made that statement.) I have a niece, she's called Joon (Ahomiya for Moon)... She's in Class 12, and NOT in LinkedIn thankfully, coz she sez, "T2-mama, I've tried LinkedIn but I got tired of people gyaaning, therefore deleted my account!" (That's the opinion of a new-age Indian) She further said, "T2-mama, post a random thought on LinkedIn, people will bite, and gyaan!" I tapped Inshorts in my phone... A news-dispensing startup that---apart from the horrible punctuation and language errors in what it serves---gives news in 60 words, and this was the first"newsstory" I read. Their are many other breaking-news stories on the platform such as a movie actor saying that he's finally dating. 😂 This post was an experiment, and it started an online debate. I really don't know what to say about the intellectual-quotient of LinkedIn users now. 😎 PS: Tap on the link, read the debate with a bag of popcorn in your lap, enjoy the show. 😂 PPS: Honest apologies to the guinea pigs, but, man, you drop your pants and someone WILL spank you! 💥
💥 Agent of disruption ☕ I turn chai into content (I do branding, i.e.) 🖊️ I write | I edit (Creative/Academic) 📸 Street photographer 🌐 I do news PS: I can beat you in Scrabble/Crossword/Nonogram/Checkers
I've dated scores of ladies... I expect them to go Dutch! They even say, "Sure!" And just as, post the Dutch dinner, things start heating up... the alarm bell in my mobile rings, I wake up, brush my teeth, and go to work! But then, seriously, folks, what's wrong with expecting a lady to split the date-dinner bill? 🙃

Heading out tonight with the kids for some trick-or-treating? 🍭 While it can be a lot of fun, remember that safety comes first. Lollies might seem like a treat, but can quickly turn into a scare if you're not careful. Don't allow your children to walk around with a lolly in their mouth, as if they fall the stick can cause significant damage to the mouth and/or teeth. Likewise, if the lolly falls off the end of the stick, it becomes a choking hazard. If you need to help someone who is choking: ✔️ Perform up to 5 back blows (firm, between the shoulder blades). ✔️ Perform up to 5 abdominal thrusts. ✔️ Phone 999 if not removed, then cycle through blows/thrusts until either it is removed or the casualty becomes unconscious. If this happens, provide CPR including rescue breaths. Note: if you perform even one abdominal thrust, the casualty should be checked in the hospital. Have a safe and happy Halloween! 👻

Tonight is Halloween. We expect to get hundreds of kids dressed up in their scariest (and cutest) costumery to trick-or-treat at our place. I love it. The dog, not so much. One of my goals is to run out of candy at just the right time so 1. We accomodate most/all of the trick-or-treaters, and 2. We don’t have leftover candy to tempt me all week. My second goal is to enjoy this interaction: Trick or treater: How many can I take? Me (in my infamous “fur” dollhead jacket): How many do you want to take? The kids are usually very surprised. Many struggle to come up with, “the right answer.” There is no “right answer.” Most don’t ask, and just take 1 candy. A few defiantly take a handful. Among those who ask this question, the most common answer is, “2 or 3?” I’m still waiting for someone to say, “all”. I will then pour all the candies into their container, turn off the lights, and go watch the latest Chucky movie with whoever is brave enough to join me. There are lessons in here somewhere, but maybe it’s just fun.
