Training Staff on Gender-Based Violence (GBV) is crucial for creating a supportive and informed environment to address and prevent GBV incidents. By investing in comprehensive GBV training, organizations can build a knowledgeable and responsive workforce that contributes to preventing and addressing GBV effectively. Capacity building for Staff working with "Children Education and Empowerment Association Cameroon" on GBV approaches was centered towards compassionate workforce that can effectively prevent, respond to, and support survivors of GBV. Every word shapes a life. When talking about children and exploitation, language matters. It can be the difference between a child being properly safeguarded or put at further risk of exploitation. The #CSETaskforce has commissioned the The Children's Society and NAPAC - the National Association for People Abused in Childhood to develop refreshed guidance in relation to the use of appropriate language which has been published today. This will help influence the direct practice of professionals as well as the wider culture surrounding the safeguarding of children.
