This training explores how porous, rigid, and healthy boundaries (or lack thereof) affect our relationships and performance in the work dynamic. It is difficult to sustain energy when the lack of, or excessive use of, boundaries demand attention. This full-day training provides ready-to-use tools to help build the skills needed to set and maintain boundaries. Mental Health First Aiders have become a crucial part of many organisations. But how can we support those who are helping others every day and keep these individuals energised and inspired? Firstly, talk to them! Ask your #MHFA network what they want and need in order to fulfil their role and remain engaged in the vital work they do. And consider some of these ideas that were shared in an Everymind at Work webinar we recently attended: ✨ Run refresher sessions on subjects that you know are top of mind ✨ Invite in external speakers to provide fresh perspectives through lived experience ✨ Share personal stories and case studies in advance of wellbeing events ✨ Hold ‘troubleshooting’ workshops to help them tackle common challenges together ✨ Encourage them to get curious and do self-learning around key topics ✨ Freshen up your communication around things like boundary-setting ✨ Create self-care toolkits and templates for them to use ✨ Provide a few perks like free yoga or mindfulness sessions ✨ Encourage MHFAs to buddy up, support one another and share their reasons ‘why’ ✨ Freshen up their tools and resources with new factsheets and skills guides ✨ Invite in a new executive sponsor to provide a boost of energy and motivation How do you keep your MHFA network engaged and motivated? #Communication #InternalCommunication #Wellbeing #MentalHealth #SelfCare #MentalHealthAwarenessWeek ******************** Alive With Ideas is a full service communications agency fuelled by creative ideas. We’re on your side and in your corner.

Have you or would you like to Implement a robust Mental Health First Aider programme into your organisation? At Simpila Wellbeing we provide a complete Awareness, Education and Support programme to help design, develop and implement your MHFAider team positively. We have been delivering MHFA training now for over 6 years, facilitating hundreds of deliveries and working with thousands of amazing humans. When we deliver the Refresher training (due every 3 years) we find that the most common responses to the question - how have you found being a MHFAider® are: - Nobody comes to speak to me - My name is somewhere on the internet in our wellbeing pages - I don't have many conversations - People don't want to open up to me To me most of the challenges stem from a lack of awareness and engagement with the company before the 2 day training takes place - We need to move from reactive to proactive management of conversations. We strongly advise clients to host a 'What is MHFA?' session (30 minutes) to help build the foundations. We can then work with those who express a genuine interest in becoming a MHFAider® through a process of selection. Once the training is completed it is the 'What's next?' that is critically important. We have developed an ongoing programme of support for the MHFAiders®, providing them with insights, ongoing development and when the refreshers return they are already prepared and continuing on the journey. If you would like to know more about our 'Inclusive' MHFAider® programme from awareness ,education and support, feel free to get in touch: training@simpila.com #training #mentalhealth #mhfa #support

We’re proud to support World Mental Health Day, a day dedicated to educating and raising awareness about mental health across the globe. 🌍While mental health matters every day of the year, October 10th provides an opportunity for us to come together and address important mental health issues. This year's theme focuses on tackling poor mental health and burnout in the workplace. It’s a growing issue that can affect anyone, in any industry, with 1 in 4 people experiencing mental ill health in the UK at any time. By raising awareness about stress and burnout in the workplace, we can help create a more productive, engaged, and fulfilled workforce. At Inspiro, we strive to ensure we meet our values of happy learners and motivated staff: ☑️ We’ve invested in training 25 colleagues across the business as Mental Health First Aiders to offer immediate support to any learner or colleague in crisis. ☑️ All our colleagues have access to mental health conversation training, a valuable skill for supporting friends, family, and colleagues alike. ☑️ For our learners, we’re excited to launch our updated Information and Guidance page on our digital learning platform, providing access to resources on a range of wellbeing topics, including mental health, housing, addiction, and more. On World Mental Health Day, and beyond, let’s check in with those around us – friends, family, peers, or colleagues. 💙 To find out more about how we support both our learners and colleagues with their mental health 📞 0800 731 8199. #WMHD2024 #WorldMentalHealthDay #MentalHealthAwareness
