From today, tourists arriving in Spain will need to provide personal data, including contact details and their relationship to any children travelling with them to the Spanish security forces. The Spanish Government has introduced the checks as part of a crackdown on organised crime. The Spanish authorities will require hotels, holiday rental platforms, tour operators, car hire firms and other suppliers to provide detailed information about each visitor. This will include guest payment details and other information not on their passports such as home address, email address, phone numbers, the number of people in their group and their relationship to children travelling with them. The data will be up-loaded onto a platform shared with Spanish security forces. These rules apply to mainland Spain including its islands and any non-compliant companies risk fines of up to €30,000. #Spain #Entryrequirements #Spanishsecuritychecks #Travelconsultant

China decided to simultaneously optimize its entry policy, include exchange visits in the visa-free program, and extend the visa-free stay period from the current 15 days to 30 days. From November 30, 2024, holders of ordinary passports from 38 visa-free countries, can enter China for business, tourism, visiting relatives and friends, exchange visits and transit for no more than 30 days. Those who do not meet the conditions for visa exemption still need to get a visa to China before entering the country. To further facilitate visits between Chinese and foreign personnel, China has decided to expand the scope of visa-free countries. From 30 November 2024 to 31 December 2025, the visa-free policy will be piloted for holders of ordinary passports in Bulgaria, Romania, Croatia, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Malta, Estonia, Latvia and Japan.

China and Georgia have signed an agreement for mutual visa exemption for holders of ordinary passports. - The agreement allows citizens of both countries to enter, exit, or transit through the other country without a visa for a single stay of up to 30 days, with a cumulative stay of up to 90 days within 180 days. - Previously, Georgia had already implemented visa exemption for Chinese tourists since September 11, 23 years ago. - The mutual visa exemption will facilitate easier travel for Georgian tourists to China and promote inbound tourism. - Currently, there are direct flights from Urumqi, China, to the Georgian capital, Tbilisi, operated by China Southern Airlines with four flights per week. - The price of direct flight tickets in May is around 3000 yuan (Chinese currency). - After the announcement of the visa exemption agreement, searches for related tourist products have increased by 1.1 times. - Georgian specialties include steamed buns, Azerbaijani Caspian Sea grilled fish rice, and Armenian grilled trout, which are popular local dishes. #Georgian #China #VISA #Exemption #Tourism #Travel #CZ

Are You Traveling to a Country That REQUIRES Six Month Passport Validity? Know Before You Go The below is a great post put out by my fellow GBTA | Risk Committee member Craig Collins of CIBT that I felt was worth sharing with my network. I just spoke about this subject last week in my "Street-Smart Travel Skills" presentation at the Meeting Professionals International WEC Congress. Craig's post provides more depth to the subject, which you should be aware of before traveling—especially if you're traveling to any of the over 24 countries listed in the attached post. Keep in mind that while many airlines won't even let you board the aircraft in most cases, sometimes travelers have been known to be allowed to board and fly to these destinations, only to be turned back upon arrival. Obviously, anyone traveling to any international destination needs to do their own due diligence and double-check the destination's arrival requirements, as governments may change these requirements. #traveltips #travel #passport #businesstravel
Navigating the world of international travel can be complex, especially trying to understand passport validity—for example, many individuals are unaware their passports must typically be valid well past their planned return date to be allowed entry into a foreign country. https://ow.ly/3gft30sCJfT
