The more I learn about VEL, the more I understand its significance. It’s not a networking group, or a lead generating service or a pay-to-play opportunity. VEL is a choice. If each person is a balloon, and tied to that balloon are our fears, failures, anxieties and doubt - all the different things that keep that balloon from reaching new heights - VEL can help you choose to cut those things loose. They don’t do the cutting or even act as the scissors. You do the work, but VEL helps you understand where and how to start. As the balloon climbs, a greater perspective is found. One that shows more of the road ahead and the purpose behind the effort. “Discovering Parts Within” is the cornerstone program VEL stands on. It welcomes a very small amount of candidates each year. It’s only goal is to help particiants cut their balloons loose. It’s the same style of instruction our founder has provided to NASA and executives across multiple industries. Love to tell you more. We have three spots left for the next DPW session. #heyfahey #velinstitute #purpose
VEL proudly welcomes Chris Fahey as our new Chief of Staff. With a focus on organizational operations, community engagement, and event management, Chris is committed to connecting veterans, entrepreneurs, and community leaders to VEL's unique professional and personal development opportunities. Together, we aim to foster enlightenment and success through leadership, connection, and continuous learning.

Founded as The Registry for College and University Presidents more than 30 years ago, The Registry is now the premier provider of interim leadership in higher education. Two former university presidents, Tom Langevin and Allen Koenig, sought a way for college presidents to remain engaged in higher education in their retirement. They created a new model, a redefinition, of interim leadership. Their innovative business model and their connections throughout the industry quickly redefined what interim leadership could be; taking what was previously a largely transitional mode of leadership to a way to help institutions deploy highly experienced leaders as intentional, transformational interim administrators. The highly experienced outside interim became accepted as a new way of managing both transitions and change. If you need an interim, call The Registry. #theregistry #interimleadership #intentionalleadership #highereducation #OneZRG
Over 30 years ago, we redefined interim leadership in higher education, and built a strong reputation for effectively and efficiently matching interim leadership with a diverse range of educational institutions. Contact us today at 978-532-4090 to learn more.

Vector Solutions offer a streamlined performance evaluation system for schools. Ask me how we can help your district! #educators #principals #evaluations #performanceevaluation
New legislation requires Minnesota school districts to provide annual principal evaluations that support and improve a principal’s culturally responsive leadership practice beginning in the 2024-25 school year. Culturally responsive leadership practice focuses on actions school leaders can take to help themselves and their colleagues identify and remove barriers for opportunity, access and outcomes. To help districts prepare, we’ve launched a new Culturally Responsive Leadership page at https://lnkd.in/gF67FWMy

We are honoured to have Professor Andy Hargreaves deliver the keynote address at this years' LTSB Education Leadership Conference. His talk, "The Age of Identity: Who Do Our Kids Think They Are… and How Can We Help Them Belong?", explores a critical aspect of education today—how identity shapes learning and community. Drawing from experiences with diverse school communities, Professor Hargreaves will share why fostering a strong sense of identity is just as vital as academic achievement. Surely, one not to be missed! It's not too late to book. https://lnkd.in/ed-J6vuS
