This is pretty epic! I remember watching wave technology demonstrations way back on shows like Tomrrow's World or Beyond 2000, and they weren't like this. Carnegie Clean Energy's technology is amazing and the visuals created by my good friends at Spatial Media - Interactive Visual Engagement are breathtaking. The level of detail, fluid animations, and easily digestible content are exceptional, but I love how they capture the little details to make the video super realistic. 📰 We're in the news! #INESCTEC researchers Ricardo Bessa, André Garcia, Carla Gonçalves, Giovanni Buroni and Ricardo Andrade are part of the team behind PREDICO, a platform set to revolutionise energy production forecasting. More than just an energy forecasting tool, PREDICO introduces a collaborative approach and a data market: connecting companies seeking renewable production forecasts with forecast providers. In an interview with Expresso, our researchers shared how PREDICO evolved from an algorithm leveraging data from wind and solar farms into an innovative platform tailored for renewable energy forecasting, focusing on offshore wind power. The platform is already being tested in an operational environment with Elia, a system operator in Belgium and Germany.
