- VITIATION OF CONTRACT - Vitiation is a situation in which contractor’s position does not remain L1 due to variation of quantities of items during the course of execution. To avoid vitiation in contract, variation in quantities should be checked time to time. It is applicable mostly in Railway Projects in which special approval is required even sometimes from Railway Board. Example of Vitiation: -

Today, a growth path for DNO's North Sea production in the coming years was outlined at the Company's third quarter 2024 presentation: * Q4 2024 output to rise with contribution from newly acquired Norne assets and resumed production after maintenance * Further growth with Trym restart in 2025, followed by first production from Andvare and Verdande field developments * Bestla start-up expected early in 2027, while Trym Sør (to-be-sanctioned) may follow later in the year * After 2027, new volumes to come from Berling (ongoing project) and to-be-sanctioned developments of existing discoveries, primarily in Troll-Gjøa area

Dredging is a challenging task in port engineering.
WHAT A SEND OFF! After two years widening our shipping channels in Cleveland Bay, the time has come to bid backhoe dredge Woomera farewell. Woomera has removed 3.4 million cubic metres of material from the channel, bringing 2572 barge loads back to our new reclamation area as part of our $251 million Channel Upgrade project. Our contractors spent about 680,600 hours on the dredging campaign, which has widened the channel from 92m to 180m at the Port end, tapering to 120m offshore. This will allow larger ships up to 300m long to safely access the Port. While Woomera is setting sail, works on the project will continue until mid-year.

Another one step of #1SN towards permitting. One top a bulk sample from future real life mining-further proof of concept and reality check for the existing #DFS. Looking forward to the ALS Burnie metallurgical processing results. I expect minimum proof of already good recovery rates or hopefully better. #1SN
We are pleased today to announce that a Trial Blast at our Taronga Tin Project in Australia has been successfully undertaken and the results have been analysed. Our CEO, Bill Scotting commented: “The trial blast was a great success and reinforces the technical viability of our Taronga project. It confirms that the powder factors used in the DFS produce excellent fragmentation and that further trials using even lower powder factors could result in significant operating cost savings. Our monitoring also confirmed acceptable vibration and noise from the trial, demonstrating our commitment to safety and minimal community impact. This data is currently being modelled as part of the preparation of Taronga’s Environmental Impact Statement. The blasted rock also provided an opportunity to collect another bulk sample for our continuing metallurgical testwork programme, with samples more closely representing the actual run of mine blasted material. ALS Burnie in Tasmania will conduct metallurgical testing on these samples. These insights are invaluable as we advance our Taronga asset toward production.” Read the full announcement here: https://bit.ly/3UFAPFj #FirstTin #1SN #Tin #Taronga #TrialBlast
