Women leaders might be called out to be - A Hitler - Too bossy - Too strict - Emotionless - Cut to throat But, at some point, if we are not -- In a "Work while Work, Play while Play" mindset, we can just be walked over! I have faced this multiple times, in multiple scenarios. And to be honest, I don't mind it. Because at the end of the day - When they look back, they realize that - That push was needed. - That rejection was needed. - That strict talk was needed. - That constructive feedback was needed. That's exactly when one thrives. That's exactly when one grows. If you keep hearing only sweet words, you my friend are in the wrong place. P.s. Labels are only put by people with a bottled mindset. What's bottled mindset, well that's for the next post :) #womenleaders
Agreed. This narrative about women in the workplace is very common. But it needs to change. Love your perspective on this Sakthi Ektha N
Women can be considered as a "Wazir" It means she's the one who take all decisions and provide great ideas to the King . Sakthi Ektha N
You may be labeled difficult, so be it. Work while you work and play while you play. Sakthi, love the thought.
Growth lives outside the comfort zone, right? 🌱 And those "labels"? They're just reflections of limited perceptions.
Ahem. Let's look at it this way, strictness, harshness et al is acceptable when the alleged woman leader is not insecure in her skin !Now, since I am not much of a feminist, and perhaps God's last minute decision of being born as a woman, so could see through most of the alleged women leaders who were mostly envious, condescending and super insecure! Haughty at best and amusing to my delight ;) You just giggle away from these eenie meanie, mineeiii mossss in the hope of someday meeting a true woman leader, O what can I say, Hopeless optimist! Bright side: you figure how you don't want to be ;) That said to each their own!
It's inspiring to see your unwavering resilience and strength in the face of such challenges. Your determination and commitment to growth are truly commendable. Keep thriving and breaking barriers!
Sakthi Ektha N, your insight into the challenges faced by women leaders is both astute and empowering. Despite being labeled with derogatory terms like "Hitler" or "bossy," you maintain a resilient mindset focused on the necessity of firm leadership. Your willingness to embrace tough conversations and provide constructive feedback underscores your commitment to growth and progress. Indeed, it's through facing challenges head-on that true leadership emerges. Keep inspiring others with your strength and determination!
Embracing the challenges of leadership, especially as a woman, is integral to growth. Society's labels may sting, but they fuel our resilience. Constructive criticism and tough decisions propel us forward. Let's foster environments where authenticity and growth reign, shaping tomorrow's leaders.
🟣 Resilience > Labels ⇒ Strength + Perseverance = Empowerment 🟣 Assertiveness > Approval ⇒ Confidence + Boundaries = Respect 🟣 Growth ≠ Comfort ⇒ Challenge + Reflection = Evolution Thank you for sharing such a valuable post Sakthi Ektha N Loved the way you explained it. 💜
