🚀 Delage Torpille: Laurent Tapie Aims for 500 km/h Supremacy 🏎️ Laurent Tapie, the visionary entrepreneur behind the revival of Delage, has set his sights high. After the launch of the Delage D12, designed to rival Bugatti and redefine the hypercar segment, Tapie now unveils his next bold step: the Delage Torpille, a hypercar capable of breaking the 500 km/h barrier. 💥 The Legacy Continues 🔥 Delage, once a name as prestigious as Bugatti a century ago, is making a powerful comeback. The D12, with its V12 hybrid engine delivering 1,000 hp, is nearly ready for launch, with homologation expected by the first quarter of 2025. With a price tag of €2 million, it targets an elite clientele of collectors. But the Torpille—named after the Delage 2LCV, which set a speed record of 230.6 km/h in 1924—is the next chapter, designed to dominate the speed world once again. A 500 km/h Challenge 🌪️ Tapie’s ambition? To make the Delage Torpille the fastest production car on the planet. To achieve this, Delage is working on a revolutionary aerodynamic system adapted from aeronautical principles discovered during World War I. According to Tapie, this system, activated at 420 km/h, dramatically reduces drag and allows the car to push beyond 500 km/h. 🏁 The technology is still under wraps, as the patent is pending, but one major challenge remains: finding tires that can withstand such speeds. The Michelin tires used on the D12, built for the Bugatti Chiron’s 490 km/h record, hit their limit just before the 500 km/h mark. Delage is actively seeking a partner to develop new tires capable of breaking through this final barrier. 🏎️🔧 A Race to the Top 🏆 Delage isn’t the only contender in this race. Bugatti, Koenigsegg, and Hennessey are all vying for the coveted 500 km/h record. Mate Rimac, CEO of Bugatti, has revealed plans for a speed run with the upcoming Bugatti Tourbillon, while Koenigsegg aims to challenge with its Jesko. Hennessey, meanwhile, is eyeing a more American milestone: breaking 300 mph (483 km/h). The Delage Torpille will be revealed in 2026, with production set for 2028, coinciding with the final year of the D12’s run. Only 50 units will be built, and like its predecessor, the price will be in the multi-million range. 💰 Pushing Boundaries 🌍 With its audacious pursuit of 500 km/h, Delage is not only reviving its historic name but also positioning itself at the pinnacle of hypercar innovation. The Torpille is a symbol of ambition, technical mastery, and the relentless pursuit of speed. As Laurent Tapie continues to push the boundaries of what’s possible, Delage is fast becoming a brand that commands attention in the hypercar world once more. 🌟 The battle for 500 km/h supremacy is heating up. Will the Delage Torpille be the first to break ? Stay tuned—2028 is shaping up 🏎️🌍 #DelageTorpille #500kmh #Hypercar #DelageRevival #SpeedRecord #AutomotiveInnovation #LuxuryCars #BugattiVsDelage #Koenigsegg #Hennessey #LaurentTapie #Automobile

Wonders of Engineering BUGATTI tourbillon BUGATTI reveals a new era and redefines the world of automotive performance and luxury once more with the TOURBILLON. Yesterday was the official premiere of BUGATTI Tourbillon - an exquisite masterpiece of modern car industry. Probably one of the most exclusive cars that you can buy right now. I know that you are already excited but you are also probably wondering, why I am writing about BUGATTI in LinkedIn? No, unfortunately I am not buying one, but as a car fan and enthusiast, I watched the revealing event with great interest and passion. And the more you read, listen and learn about the car, the more you understand what a technical and engineering marvel the team from Molsheim developed. But this post is not about the car itself but about something that Mate Rimac, the CEO of Bugatti Rimac, said in one of his interviews: "𝘉𝘶𝘨𝘢𝘵𝘵𝘪 𝘪𝘴 𝘢𝘭𝘭 𝘢𝘣𝘰𝘶𝘵 𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘪𝘵𝘢𝘨𝘦, 𝘤𝘳𝘢𝘧𝘵𝘴𝘮𝘢𝘯𝘴𝘩𝘪𝘱, 𝘲𝘶𝘢𝘭𝘪𝘵𝘺 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘱𝘦𝘳𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘮𝘢𝘯𝘤𝘦, 𝘣𝘶𝘵 𝘪𝘵'𝘴 𝘮𝘰𝘳𝘦 𝘢𝘳𝘪𝘴𝘵𝘰𝘤𝘳𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘤, 𝘪𝘵’𝘴 𝘢𝘣𝘰𝘶𝘵 𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘺𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘪𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘢𝘯𝘢𝘭𝘰𝘨𝘶𝘦 𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘭𝘥." So even though the car employs the latest car tech you can think of such as high-performance electric motors and batteries, 3D printed suspension, carbon fiber monocoque etc., most of the tech remains hidden and subtle. The center stage goes to the absolutely unfathomable V16 engine🤯 and the fully analogue gauges, produced by a high-end Swiss watch manufacturer. So the question here is what makes something timeless? Well maybe it’s not exactly the technology per se. In the era of mass production, fast fashion, AI generated content and virtual everything, it is no surprising why everything seems to get obsolete in a couple of years and even months. So doing a technology detox and going back to the basics actually makes sense, especially for such a unique car brand. “𝘊𝘢𝘳𝘴 𝘭𝘪𝘬𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘛𝘰𝘶𝘳𝘣𝘪𝘭𝘭𝘰𝘯 𝘸𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘣𝘦 𝘱𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘦𝘳𝘷𝘦𝘥 𝘣𝘺 𝘤𝘰𝘭𝘭𝘦𝘤𝘵𝘰𝘳𝘴 𝘵𝘰 𝘴𝘩𝘰𝘸 𝘰𝘧𝘧 𝘢𝘵 𝘗𝘦𝘣𝘣𝘭𝘦 𝘉𝘦𝘢𝘤𝘩 𝘥𝘦𝘤𝘢𝘥𝘦𝘴 𝘪𝘯𝘵𝘰 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘧𝘶𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘦, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘧𝘪𝘭𝘭𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘤𝘢𝘳 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘴𝘤𝘳𝘦𝘦𝘯𝘴 𝘸𝘩𝘪𝘤𝘩 𝘭𝘰𝘰𝘬 𝘮𝘰𝘥𝘦𝘳𝘯 𝘯𝘰𝘸 𝘸𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘭𝘰𝘰𝘬 𝘩𝘰𝘳𝘳𝘪𝘣𝘭𝘺 𝘥𝘢𝘵𝘦𝘥 𝘪𝘯 10 𝘺𝘦𝘢𝘳’𝘴 𝘵𝘪𝘮𝘦." 👉 So what’s my point here. Don’t follow blindly the tech trends! Technologies like AI now may be changing our reality pretty quickly but we as a humans should always save a place in our hearts for the true artisan craftsmanship and beauty. And whatever you are building right now – whether it is a software, a physical product or an art, do not think about what will be demanded only today. Try always to put a bigger picture in place and imagine what would be considered valuable in 10 years, in 20 years, in a century. 🙏 Thank you Mate Rimac for bringing back beauty and aesthetic back to their true origins. Happy weekend everyone and don't forget to enjoy the pictures and videos. Apparently, we will have to wait a little bit more for the car itself...😆 #beauty #aesthetic #timeless #design #bugatti #tourbillon #advice #entrepreneurship

After the launch of the 2026 Bugatti Tourbillon, the replacement for the Chiron, which officially appeared last month, and despite our knowledge that we are talking about the 2026 car, it will not enter production lines until the year 2026, God willing. However, this did not prevent us from imagining the result of equipping a new Bugatti with modified wheels from the famous Vossen company. The type of rims that were added to the newest super sports car is part of digital imaginations, since this car did not enter the production lines. It is GEN-01 from Vossen, and its picture was published on the car life style page on Instagram. The Bugatti Hybrid relies on a system that combines a naturally aspirated 8.3-liter V16 gasoline engine without turbochargers that produces 986 horsepower and 900 Newton meters of torque, working with 3 electric motors. Two motors on the front axle, and a motor on the rear axle, producing 789 hp from the electric motors alone, and when the four motors are running together, the power of the newest Bugatti car reaches 1,775 hp ( The 2026 Bugatti Tourbillon can cover a distance of up to 60 km, relying on electric motors only, without the intervention of the gasoline engine. The 2026 supercar, running on Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires, accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 2 seconds, reaches 200 km/h in 5 seconds, accelerates from 0 to 300 km/h in 10 seconds, and reaches... A speed of 400 km/h in less than 25 seconds. When using the second key in the new Bugatti, the maximum speed reaches 444 km/h. There will be 250 copies of this new supercar bearing the Bugatti logo, and the price of the 2026 Bugatti Tourbillon will increase from 3.9 million US dollars. #Anis_Maaouia

🍾 BUGATTI ’s greatest Hypercar yet: the USD 4million, V16-powered TOURBILLON 🥂 🚗💨 Like the McLaren Group F1 and the La Ferrari , the seismic impact of the Veyron on the automotive world in 2006 cannot be overstated. It was the first production #car to breach four-figure horsepower and surpass 250 mph, thanks to its outrageous W16 engine with four turbochargers and 10 radiators. 🏎️✨ Then came its successor, the Chiron, a decade later, pushing boundaries even further with a sleek visual makeover. While the #Veyron faced critiques for its design, the #Chiron refined it into a #hypercar worthy of its metrics. And now, enter the Tourbillon—a groundbreaking clean sheet creation with no carryover parts from its predecessors. 🚀🔧 The Tourbillon spiritually channels the Type 35 race car, the opulence of the Type 41 Royale, and the elegance of the Type 57 SC Atlantic. It boasts a massive 64-valve powerplant, a 24.8-kWh battery powering three electric motors, and a combined 1,800 horsepower. Reports say it can go 0-62 mph in about two seconds and reach 249 mph in under 25 seconds. 🕰️⚡ What sets Bugatti apart is their small, agile development team, allowing for greater creativity and innovation. CEO Mate Rimac emphasized, “We didn’t dial it back anywhere—you can see that it’s full throttle, everywhere.” 🏁🔥 Inside, the #Tourbillon is a marvel, drawing inspiration from the art of #watchmaking. The cabin resembles a skeleton watch with intricate details, featuring a titanium-machined instrument cluster and mechanical gauges. It’s the only car in the world with an analog battery charge gauge. 🕰️💎 Bugatti's latest #masterpiece is an audacious move in an era leaning towards electric. As the #automotive industry shifts, Bugatti stands out by creating the 21st century's first and only V16 powerplant—a naturally aspirated 8.3-liter marvel. While others pack in more digital screens, Bugatti embraces Swiss-made chronographs, eliminating displays entirely. 🏆 This is #luxury redefined!

Do You Want A Set of Wheels and Tires Or A Used Lamborghini 🔹The Bugatti Veyron uses Michelin Pilot Sport PAX tires that are bespoke for the Bugatti. They're like no other rubber on the road. For one thing, the company glues them to the wheel. This adhesive requires replacement roughly every 18 months to ensure a good seal, regardless of whether the owner is even driving the Bugatti. Plus, an owner needs to get new wheels roughly every three tire changes. 🔹The PAX part of the name refers to Michelin's run-flat system that puts a polyurethane-and-rubber insert between the interior of the tire and the wheel. If a puncture occurs, this piece is able to support the vehicle and let it continue driving. 🔹All of this tech is necessary in order to cope with the incredible forces that the Veyron's tires have to endure at high speed. As the velocities increase, there's more friction, which results in the air inside the tire heating up, thereby increasing the pressure. At top speed, the tires are fighting against 5,442 Gs of force, and they can only withstand this for 15 minutes before failing. ✍️What are your thoughts about Bugatti cars? ♻️Please feel free to reshare, and follow me Yue Ma for more updates. 🎬Video by Waterjet #bugatti #Lamborghini #supercar #cardesign #vehicledesign #vehicleengineering #wheel #tire

BUGATTI TOURBILLON This is Bugatti Tourbillon In 2004, the reborn Bugatti brand transformed the world of automotive performance and luxury with a 1,001 hp hyper sports car: the Veyron. The first road car with more than 1,000 hp was succeeded in 2016 by another engineering feat so ambitious it reset all expectations of performance, the world’s first 1,500 hp car: the Chiron. At the heart of these cars was the world’s most advanced automotive engine: an 8.0-liter quad-turbo W16. Now, 20 years after Bugatti invented the hyper sports car, it redefines the concept completely with an entirely new powertrain and platform. Not only is the Tourbillon one of the most powerful cars in the world, it has, by far, the most potent naturally aspirated powertrain you can buy. Assuming that you have at least 3.8 million euros (roughly $4.1 million) earmarked for a hypercar, can reserve one of the 250 production slots, and can wait until at least 2026 for your vehicle to be delivered. A few assumptions. Kindly contact me for the below listed brands. 1. Aston Martin 2. Bugatti 3. Ferrari 4. Lamborghini 5. Maserati 6. McLaren 7. Mercedes Benz 8. Pagani 9. Porsche 10.
