I'm excited to announce that Automatiq was ranked #75 in North America on the Fast 500. John Lucier and I are extremely grateful for all the amazing dedicated work from an all star team. The future is bright!
Yesterday, we had an amazing session on LEAN thinking. We explored how the LEAN thinking initiative was started, how we implement it at Dotsquares, and why it’s important for everyone in our company, no matter what their job role is.
This commitment not only enhances our workflow but also empowers every team member to contribute to our culture of efficiency and excellence. Here's to continuous improvement and innovation!
Looking forward to our next session 👏

Behind the scenes🕵
Great ideas happen when collaboration and data come together. Here’s a behind-the-scenes look at Datanomy’s founders, Krishna Sivasamy ACMA, CGMA, BSc (Hons) and Nishant Jain ACMA, CGMA, in action—driving innovative solutions through strategy, insight, and teamwork.
Their visionary approach is all about turning complex data into clear strategies for success. 📈
At Datanomy, we focus on thought leadership and data-driven business insight, continuously challenging the status quo, offering fresh perspectives that empower organisations to make smarter, faster decisions.

I absolutely love helping customers take their awards programmes to the next level and brainstorming ways we, at Evessio, can help them achieve their goals.
This week alone, I've had at least 5 amazing conversations about the value of providing judges' feedback to entrants and how it not only helps to drive more entries but also enhances the quality of submissions! 📈🏆

AI and Human Beings: A Deeper Conversation
Before attending the Insigniam Executive Summit last month, I found myself preoccupied with questions about AI, such as, "Will AI replace humans in various industries?" and "How quickly will healthcare systems integrate AI in patient diagnostics?"
However, engaging with 125 leaders at the summit opened my eyes to a more profound question about the relationship between AI and human beings. It's not just about replacement or speed of integration; it's about understanding how AI can complement and enhance human capabilities, such as fostering innovation, and many of those questions haven't been answered because they are being shaped nowadays.
I might be stating the obvious, but there is a role for each business leader now to be an agent to shape the future of AI to serve a better world. Each of us has the personal agency to drive this transformation, ensuring AI development aligns with our values and goals.
#AI#Humans#Agency
Last month Insigniam and Elixirr brought together over 125 executives from various industries and functions for the Executive Summit to share, inquire, and learn about leading a #digitally enabled organization!
Adam Hofmann (Elixirr Principal), Bradley Leibovich, MD, FACS (Mayo Clinic) Rita Khan, (Optum), Matthew H. (Frontier Communication), and Bob Skinstad (Elixirr Partner and former Captain of the Championship Springboks Rugby team) challenged clients to explore the relationship between #humans and emerging #technologies and what leaders—and enterprises will require to thrive in this new environment.
Take an inside look:
While we have a lot of (legitimate) attention on AI, GenAI and now AGI, do we spend enough time exploring what we provide that is uniquely human? Profound curiosity and commitment are required to build a vision for the future with the leadership to make it happen! #AI#GenAI#AGI#leadership#breakthrough

My key takeaways from the Insigniam Executive Client Summit, co-hosted by Elixirr, on the subject of leadership in a #Digitally enabled organization, are these 4 questions for you (the reader) to consider:
1) What premises of generative AI are you most excited for?
2) What part of your job do you want AI to help with or replace first?
3) What is now not possible that becomes possible with generative AI?
4) What are parts of your job that are uniquely human?

André Neubauer asked me about the most important thing I learned at @INNOQ.
Well, it is difficult to pinpoint the _most_ important thing, but one important thing I learned is the importance of constraints for projects. I am not talking about constraints that make things almost impossible to achieve, like a manager imposing an unrealistically tight deadline to create "pressure". I mean something else.
A project that starts with "You have all the freedoms to make the best product, free choice of technologies and a plenty of time and budget" may sound like a dream. But it will very often turn out to be a nightmare. No constraints means a lot of decisions to make, and making decisions means a lot of effort. This is especially true if you have a large team with strong opinions. It can lead to situations where almost no progress is made towards the real goal.
It may sound counterintuitive, but projects with more constraints tend to be more focused and challenging, which means more fun. (As long as there is still some wiggle room).
So when you start a project, identify your constraints as soon as possible. If there are none, make quick, informed decisions to create them, and proceed without constantly second-guessing. The grass always looks greener on the other side, but it rarely is.

Jörg Müller, what's the most important thing that you personally learned at INNOQ?

This post is inspired by a question Steve Jobs got asked when he gave a talk at MIT in 1992. "what's the most important thing that you personally learned" is such a powerful question to get inspired and start thinking.
One week into the role at BlueOptima and my key takeaways are:
1. Large software development organisations are leaving millions on the table in the form of improper or lack of measured productivity & quality in coding.
2. Traditional methods to measure these concepts (Lines of Code, Time Tracking etc.) are often inaccurate, subjective and open to gamification.
3. BlueOptima's proprietary approach to these analyses are routed in significant scientific research, are objective, technology/tool agnostic and actionable.
Last week was a lot of reading and content. One piece I feel captures BlueOptima's value to drive measurable results is the Global Drivers of Performance report.

This study leverages an extensive dataset encompassing over 60 enterprises, 32,000 developers, and 4 million Pull Requests to offer a nuanced analysis of productivity in software engineering.
Simple but full of valuable lessons!
I came across this post by Justin Welsh and had to share.
We get so many ideas daily, but how many do we actually execute?
Execution is tough, but it is what separates those who succeed from those who don’t make progress.
Today, I choose to join the 1% who take action.
As we often say at ALX: 'Do hard things now to enjoy a soft life later.'
Let’s challenge ourselves to act on our ideas!
