I've seen quite a few ads lately that take me way too long to figure out. 🧠 ⁉ If I have to read the copy three times to get it, then it hasn't quite hit the mark. I like the concept here, but my poor brain just gets a bit jumbled by the unnecessary words. 🤔 How about something like 'Gotta grab milk, marmalade' instead of 'Had to run in for milk, marmalade'. Kudos for the alliteration here, but Malm double bed feels like a bit of a stretch. And it relies on readers knowing what that product is. I'd have focussed more on the bit of copy underneath this (Ikea click and collect at Tesco). This is the core message! It's so important to get your message across quickly. What do you think about this copy? Do you like it? How would you improve it? I'm not saying it's awful (someone put a lot of thought into it), but as a writer, I'm always analysing the stuff I see.
