Reflecting on the impactful discussions at the recently concluded #AYGS has been truly inspiring. It was an honor to share the high-level panel stage, discussing the pivotal role of STI (Science, Technology, and Innovation) and STISA (Science, Technology, and Innovation Strategy for Africa) in accelerating the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA).

He stressed the need for coordinated efforts to address healthcare challenges and think through the next pandemic while promoting trade opportunities.
Michael Mandu, an International Trade Relations Expert at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Kenya, demonstrated expertise in trade policies and regulations, shedding light on the role of STI in enhancing trade facilitation and fostering economic growth.
