SAMENA Telecommunications Council’s Post

At MWC Shanghai 2024, Eric Zhao, VP and CMO of Huawei Wireless Solution, introduced a groundbreaking plan to integrate AI into network operations. Huawei’s initiative focuses on deploying the RAN Intelligent Agent across multiple cities, aiming to enhance network productivity and operational efficiency. This strategic move is part of Huawei's broader effort to transform 5G networks using AI, marking 2024 as the inaugural year of commercial 5G-A. The RAN Intelligent Agent will revolutionize network maintenance, experience, and service delivery by automating operations and optimizing performance. For example, the AI-driven copilot for field maintenance engineers has already shown the ability to increase operational efficiency tenfold during trials. Additionally, the technology enables real-time optimization of network resources, ensuring superior service delivery and energy efficiency. This AI integration not only represents a significant technological leap in network management but also signifies Huawei’s shift from solution provider to co-builder of intelligent networks. Zhao emphasized the potential for this technology to generate substantial business value, accelerate network transformation, and usher in a new era of network intelligence. #5GA #NetworkInnovation Read More: https://lnkd.in/dxeV2tq6
