🌟 Operational Optimization Workshop at Bank of Singapore, Asia's Global Private Bank Malaysia office: A Success in Collaboration and Discovery! 🌟 I recently had the privilege of facilitating the Operational Optimization Workshop (OO Workshop) at #BankofSingapore Malaysia office, and I am thrilled to share the positive outcomes with all of you. The workshop provided an invaluable platform for our Malaysia colleagues to break down silos and collaborate more effectively. Through the discovery and uncovering of our product and services workflows, participants gained a deeper understanding of each other's work. This clarity not only fostered better teamwork but also instilled a stronger sense of pride in our collective purpose. By identifying and addressing internal and external inefficiencies, the workshop highlighted key pain points that need to be resolved. Participants engaged in studying both demand and capability, which helped them identify gaps and set more realistic expectations. This, in turn, will enable us to better serve our customers and meet their needs more effectively. Although there were no changes to the existing workflows, the workshop allowed participants to pinpoint areas for improvement. These identified action points are the starting blocks for evolutionary changes, ensuring continuous growth and betterment from where we are now. I am incredibly proud of the dedication and insight shown by all participants. Together, we are on the path to making significant strides in operational excellence. Let's continue to build on this momentum and drive forward with the same collaborative spirit! Thanks to Rozita Awang, SPHRi and Azfar Mahdi PHRi, MyCP for working with me to setup this workshop. 🚀💼 #OperationalOptimization #Collaboration #ContinuousImprovement #BOSWMMY #TeamSuccess #OneTeam #Agile #Kanban #Statik #OO #BOSAgilityStudio #Transformation #Change #EvolutionaryChange #BusinessAgility

Following a refreshing morning break, we convened for an engaging panel discussion led by Mark Laudi, Managing Director of Hong Bao Media. Joining him were Laurence Yap, Regional HR Advisor at Huacomm Malaysia, and Eric Lim, Vice President, Learning Excellence & Business Compliance Group SME, Commercial & Transaction Banking, Alliance Bank Malaysia Berhad. Together, they explored strategies to align learning initiatives with business goals, increase employee engagement, and enhance L&D delivery capacity. Key pain points derived from the discussion included: 🔸The importance of having robust ROI and ROE measurements 🔸How to empower leaders to adopt a coaching mindset 🔸Ensuring learning is closely tied to KPIs As the leaders affirmed, some solutions L&D teams can explore to these pain points include: Role-playing for soft skills development; exploring real-life case studies for technical training, and placing more proactive focus on maximising learning impact and business outcomes. Before breaking for lunch, attendees enjoyed an insightful keynote presentation by Dominic Bohan, Co-founder of StoryIQ. Dominic delved into the crucial role of data literacy in driving effective decision-making. He highlighted key tools and techniques for mastering data comprehension, analysis, and interpretation, all aimed at generating actionable insights. Bohan posed an important question: "Why analyse data?" The answer lies in creating value, boosting revenue, reducing costs, minimising risks, and enhancing customer experience. He outlined the data analysis process in four essential steps: ask questions that drive value, assemble a tidy dataset, analyse the data, and act on the insights. In addition, Dominic explained why integrating an AI Chatbot should be a long-term strategy, citing benefits such as: ✅Increased customer satisfaction, reducing churn rates, ✅Cost savings from lower overtime and contractor fees, which can exceed the cost of the software, and ✅Enhanced accuracy in resolutions, leading to fewer regulatory breaches. Stay tuned for more snippets along the day, as our post-lunch sessions are underway! #LDAsiaMY #Malaysia #Conference

HI ALL!! It's been a while since my last post on LinkedIn. Let me share one of my latest experiences as a training facilitator at one of Indonesia's Banking Companies Onboarding Programs for their MT recruits. First of all, it was a blast!! The topic was Leading Business and we played a business simulation program for the whole day. The class consisted of 29 IT graduates who have been participating in various classes on business-related topics for 2 weeks. In the first round, they were focusing on how to run the simulation. But after a little spark, they got their mind to implement their business knowledge and their competitive spirit started to show in the second round. From 10mio sales, they managed to get 90mio++ at the final stage. After the game, we conducted a lesson-learned presentation to the participants and here are some of the key insights they shared with me: 1. Data-Driven Decision Making: Knowing this fact does not mean we can use all the available data. There will be challenges in deciding which data to use, and sometimes the accuracy of the data needs to be verified. 2. Cross-functional collaboration: No function is more important than another. A business will only run well when cross-functional collaboration works effectively. 3. Strategic Planning: Plans are necessary, but don't expect the situation to be as ideal as our plan. We must be ready to be agile and flexible. 4. Customer Focus: This must always be considered and be the basis for decision-making. 5. Adaptation and Innovation: Companies can plan, but we cannot 100% predict competitors, the market, and various other factors. 6. Prudent Financial Management: When finances are not ideal, it will greatly hinder business operations. #TrainingAndDevelopment #PPMManajemen #PPMInhouseLearning

I am really excited about interacting with 880 participants from banking and multi-industry from all over Indonesia to create a company culture that will not only benefit the company but also leave a legacy for our country. Of course, cultivating a company culture is a long and dynamic process, particularly in terms of implementation and identifying key culture enablers. Several of them: Tone from the TOP, Engagement Network, Training and Development, Technology Tools, Formal Communication, Gathered and Actioned Feedback, Incentive, Compensation and Reward, Employee Network, Visible Signals from Leader. #Corporate Culture #Organization Development #Service Excellence

On December 6th, I had the pleasure of sitting down with Bu Sufitri Devi, HRBP at PT Bank Syariah Indonesia Tbk. (BSI). From the very first moment, it was clear that BSI is a company with a vision—one that values its people as much as its purpose. We talked about AI Talent Management, not just as a tool but as a transformative way to rethink how talent is nurtured and positioned within the organization. Imagine a company strategy where: ✨ Strengths are maximized, matching people with roles that empower them. ✨ Potential friction is predicted, fostering smoother collaboration. ✨ Growth isn’t just encouraged—it’s strategically guided. What truly struck me was Bu Sufitri’s passion for creating impact. Her enthusiasm for integrating technology with BSI’s values shows just how forward-thinking this organization is. It’s not just about staying ahead—it’s about staying human while embracing innovation. I left the meeting feeling inspired, knowing this partnership could set a new standard for talent management in Indonesia. BSI isn’t just investing in technology—they’re investing in their people and their future. What do you think—can AI be the key to unlocking Indonesia’s talent potential? Let’s talk about it in the comments! 👇 #TalentDNA #AITalentManagement #BSI #FutureOfWork #PeopleAndBusinessTransformation #HumanInnovation
