#GenAI has the potential to change so many things. However, #Semiconductor innovations may be needed for wide spread adoption: new #Compute architectures and #Interconnect technologies, addressing the #MemoryWall and #PowerConsumption challenges. This creates exciting opportunities for startups to disrupt, and for #VC / #CVC to deploy! 😊 A lot is going on, as evidenced by the recently announced financing rounds of multiple #AI-related hardware startups, including some of our portfolio companies - Axelera AI (Fabrizio Del Maffeo), Celestial AI (David Lazovsky), DreamBig Semiconductor Inc. (Sohail Syed), Eliyan Corporation (Ramin Farjadrad) and Groq (Jonathan Ross). Thank you Stephen Hurford (Global Corporate Venturing) for the opportunity to voice thoughts on this exciting topic, together with Amelia Armour (Amadeus Capital Partners), Christian Patze (M Ventures ), Patrick Soheili (Eliyan Corporation) and Paul Karazuba (Expedera Inc.). https://lnkd.in/dDncFSbF Samsung Catalyst Fund

David (Dede) Goldschmidt, loved your comment that "AI is like a game of soccer with moving goalposts." Fully agreed, the architectures of today will not be relevant tomorrow.
