Sarinah Will Open a Store in the PANI Project   JAKARTA. The state-owned retail company, PT Sarinah (Persero), collaborates with PT Pantai Indah Kapuk Dua Tbk. (PANI) in developing its newest outlet. In this collaboration, Sarinah will open a retail outlet in the Batavia area of Pantai Indah Kapuk (PIK) 2, North Jakarta. President Director of PT Sarinah (Persero) Fetty Kwartati said that his party would open a new outlet at PIK 2 covering an area of 300 square meters. The investment value is a joint participation between Sarinah and the property issuer from the Agung Sedayu Group (ASG). Sarinah targets that this new outlet can contribute revenue is around 5%-10% of Sarinah's total retail sales. "This outlet is expected to contribute around 5%-10% of Sarinah's retail sales, but not the company's overall revenue," said Fetty to KONTAN, Sunday (29/9). Unfortunately, Fetty is not yet willing to mention details of the amount of investment required to open the outlet at PIK 2. Christy Grassela, Corporate Secretary & Shareholder Relations of PANI confirmed that there had been discussions with Sarinah regarding plans to expand its outlets in the PIK 2 area. "It's true that Sarinah have contacted the Agung Sedayu Group team and expressed interest in working on business opportunities at our project location, especially at PIK," he said to KONTAN, Sunday (29/9). He added that Agung Sedayu also saw the opportunity for this collaboration well. PANI also continues to study these business opportunities. PIK 2 has been designated as PSN with an investment of IDR 65 trillion. "The development of the discussion has not yet reached the decision stage, it is still in the exploration stage. Please give both parties time to discuss further," he explained. As additional information, the PIK 2 area was designated as a national strategic project (PSN) in March 2024 by the Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs, together with Bumi Serpong Damai (BSD). Meanwhile, PSN's investment value in PIK 2 is estimated to reach IDR 65 trillion with a target of absorbing 6,235 direct workers. Reflecting on Tjangkir Rempah's Journey, it's incredible to reminisce about our booth at INACRAFT 2023. A year has passed since our venture to Jakarta, yet the memories of both joy and struggle remain vivid. Our journey began during my second semester at Ciputra University, where I pursued International Business Management. Launching a business may seem simple, but the real challenge lies in maintaining consistency. As CEO, my vision extends beyond mere profit-making; I aspire to create businesses that leave a positive impact on both customers and the environment. Despite facing numerous hurdles, we persevered. Initially, selling traditional Indonesian drinks, known as "jamu," posed a significant challenge as our peers weren't our target market. However, through meticulous customer segmentation, we identified our niche. Our breakthrough came when we started selling at the Car Free Day (CFD) event every Sunday. Waking up at 4 am to prepare and pack our products became a ritual. Eventually, an opportunity arose to join the Surabaya Sehat health community, where we established a regular booth once a month. This marked a turning point as we began attracting genuine customers, evident from the testimonials featured on our Instagram page (@tjangkir.rempah).
