📣 Corporate Insider Scheme Unveiled: Guilty Pleas and Prosecution Declination Amid Biochemical Fraud Case 📅 On May 22, 2024, Pen Yu and Gregory Muñoz admitted guilt in a scheme to obtain discounted products from biochemical company MilliporeSigma and export them to China using falsified documents. ❌ Notably, the Justice Department declined to prosecute MilliporeSigma, citing their prompt disclosure and cooperation. Yu, aided by Muñoz, falsely claimed affiliation with a Florida university, receiving over $4.9 million in discounts. MilliporeSigma's cooperation led to arrests.
