What if they do not believe their own lies and they know precisely what's happening on the battle field? And what if they are happy with it, because they have a plan. The 'Afghanization' of Ukraine has been an option on their play book ever since 2022. And now we are at the verge of a Russian "victory" which the neocons would love to transform into a phyrric one by poisoning what Russia can possibly hope to achieve. It is crucial for Europeans to recognize that in some cases, they are not engaging with politicians but with individuals whose actions align more closely with those of criminals. Each meeting with such regimes risks legitimizing illegitimate governments that oppress their own people. Europe must respond with urgency and take a firm stance. This includes imposing stronger sanctions against those who punish, beat, and torture peaceful demonstrators and journalists—a practice that has become alarmingly common, with numerous documented cases. Silence and inaction are not options. Supporting human rights and democracy requires swift and decisive measures.
