"𝗔𝗰𝗵𝗵𝗲 𝗗𝗶𝗻" 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗖𝗮𝗿 𝗕𝘂𝘆𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗙𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗦𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗼𝗻! 🚗 The festive season supercharged India’s car market, with sales jumping 𝟮𝟲% 𝗶𝗻 𝗢𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗯𝗲𝗿! With 𝗡𝗮𝘃𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗿𝗶, 𝗗𝘂𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗵𝗿𝗮, 𝗗𝗵𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘀, and 𝗗𝗶𝘄𝗮𝗹𝗶 all packed into the same month, carmakers enjoyed their 𝘩𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘦𝘴𝘵-𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳 𝘖𝘤𝘵𝘰𝘣𝘦𝘳. Some highlights from this season: • 𝗥𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗲𝘁𝘀 drove demand with a 31% surge, boosted by a strong monsoon and better crop yields. • 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝘂𝘁𝗶 crossed 2 lakh-unit sales, marking a 20% growth – the highest for any month. • 𝗠𝗮𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗿𝗮 saw SUVs lead the charge, up 43,708 units, while 𝗛𝘆𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗶 sold over 55,000 units, mostly SUVs. What’s fueling this trend? 🚀 1. Hefty discounts as companies look to clear inventory before the new year. 2. Strong rural buying power and increased consumer confidence. But heads up! Discounts might start tapering off in November as stocks clear. If you’re in the market, now might be the time to take advantage! 💬 Are you planning to buy a car soon? Indian Car Market Gears Up for Festive Season - After two months of negative growth, the Indian car market is set to bounce back. September dispatches from Factory are estimated at 3.7 lakh units, marking a 2.2% increase. - If this figure is achieved, it will set a new record for highest-ever September sales. It may even be the third-highest monthly sales volume, following the highs of October 2023 and January 2024. - Car makers adjusted production in July and August to balance inventory. With festivals like Onam and Ganesh Chaturthi, September saw increased dispatches to meet expected demand. - Inventory levels remain high, around 74-75 days, but consumer sentiment is positive. Vehicle makers are aiming to meet the upcoming demand surge for Navratri, Dussehra, and Diwali. - Mahindra & Mahindra and Toyota are expected to drive the growth in September. - M&M's sales could hit 47,000-48,000 units, possibly positioning them as the third-largest vehicle manufacturer. - Toyota’s projected sales: 28,000-29,000 units. - Despite the growth, high inventory levels (70-75 days) are a concern for dealers, compared to 50-55 days earlier this year. - The passenger vehicle market has grown by 5% so far in 2024, with 2.84 million units sold from January to August. 💡 What’s your take on the current market trends? Will the festive season bring a significant boost? Share your thoughts! #AutomotiveIndustry #CarSales #FestiveSeason #IndianMarket #Mahindra #Toyota #PVMarket

The first Made in India car known as the King of the Indian Road which gave sturdy and comfortable ride quality now got discontinued due to several reasons. The ambassador car back then was mostly preferred by Ministers and Businessmen. Then what all mistakes do the Hindustan Motors, Ambassador car made back then so that it got discontinued in 2014 ? 1. Marketing : The company never focused on advertising its car in Newspaper or Radio or Billboard back then. 2. Upgrade : They never made the major changes in their Car Design and were never with the trend of the automobile industry. 3. Diversification: The company never diversified their customer segment as it was always seen as Taxi or Ministers Cars. They never targeted new segments of customers. 4. Egoistic Approach : It's an egoistic approach of not upgrading interiors and design of the car because they termed themselves as an iconic car is an egoistic approach. All these mistakes made them close their production unit in 2014 and earlier in 2017 it was sold to French auto manufacturer Peugeot for 80 crore. And there are rumours that the Peugeot auto company will launch Ambassador 2.0 within the coming 2 years and I hope this comes true.😁 #car #brand #automotiveindustry #automotivenews #technology #company #dealer

With the auto sector facing a slowdown, Diwali discounts aren’t just festive cheer – they’re a calculated move to drive sales and clear out inventory. Offering savings in lakhs across models from Maruti Suzuki to BMW is a sign of how seriously manufacturers are tackling a dip in demand. After a promising post-lockdown surge, the market now appears to be hitting a wall as consumers hold back on spending. Managing inventory has become a top priority, with brands needing to move fast to keep balance sheets healthy. This scenario highlights how essential it is to stay tapped into shifting consumer behavior. The usual playbook isn’t enough; brands need to double down on what really matters to buyers today. This Diwali, we’re reminded that connecting with consumers’ current needs and priorities could not only drive short-term sales but also build the kind of brand loyalty that lasts well beyond a season of discounts #Automobile #Festive #Diwali #Marketing #Offers

Withholding the post covid trends of the Indian Car Market Industry, such results were duly expected keeping the shortage of semi conductor chips, increased price levels of the cars and the sudden boom in the second hand car market industry of India. Companies rolling out massive discounts on mid-level premium to premium segment cars has created a havoc for the Car Dealerships meanwhile it is a Diwali festival bonus for the consumers. Based on industry data, the average discounts by the top 13 players in 2023 were Rs 34,630, which increased to Rs 38,816 so far in 2024. Meanwhile, such a complex tax structure on 4m sub cars creates such a field of pessimism among the International brands that they think thrice before investing in India. Be it Ford, Volkswagen and Skoda's 2nd generation car lineup. #indiancarmarket #India #maruti #volkswagen #skoda #MG #economy

The festive season in India is always a special time, especially for dealerships. It’s a period when footfalls increase, inquiries surge, and there’s a renewed sense of excitement across showrooms. For many customers, this is the time they make big purchases, and for dealerships, it’s the perfect opportunity to connect and offer tailored experiences. This year, we’ve already seen positive momentum building. Footfalls are up by 20% compared to last year, and the inquiries for new models, especially in the SUV segment, are higher than expected. The combination of new launches and festive offers has really energized the market, and it’s clear that the demand is strong. But it’s not just about hitting numbers—it’s about keeping the team morale high. The festive season can be intense, so regular check-ins, celebrating small wins, and keeping the energy positive are key to making this period a success for everyone involved. As we move forward, I’m optimistic about the opportunities ahead and excited to see how the season unfolds for the industry. #FestiveSeason #DealershipSuccess #CustomerExperience #AutomotiveIndustry #SalesGrowth #TeamMotivation

It seems like the Indian passenger vehicle sales have been hitting the brakes lately, except for October, which zoomed ahead thanks to the festive buying spree. Picture this: everyone was out there buying cars like they were Diwali sweets! But don't worry, November and December are gearing up to be the wedding crashers of the auto world. With a gazillion weddings and those irresistible year-end discounts, car sales are expected to rev up again. It's like every couple wants to drive off into the sunset in a brand-new ride! However, there's a bit of a traffic jam in the inventory department. Automakers are sweating bullets over a stockpile that's almost three months deep and worth a whopping INR 80,000 crore. That's a lot of cars just sitting around, probably wondering if they'll ever get to hit the road. So, while the sales might be cruising along, the automakers are stuck in a bit of a parking lot dilemma. Here's hoping they find a way to clear the lot and keep the wheels turning! #AutoIndustry #VehicleSales #IndianMarket #FestiveSeason #CarSales

DO SEASONS AFFECT AFTERSALES like SALES? Well it does.... let's see how In India, the trends in automotive aftersales services exhibit monthly variations influenced by several unique factors, such as weather patterns, cultural events, economic cycles, and regional characteristics. 1. Seasonality: • Monsoon Season (June to September): The rainy season brings a significant increase in demand for services related to water damage, tire checks, and maintenance of wiper systems. The high humidity and wet conditions can lead to more frequent issues with electrical systems and rusting. • Winter (November to February): In northern regions, colder weather leads to higher demand for battery checks, heating system maintenance, and general pre-winter check-ups. In contrast, in southern regions, the demand remains relatively stable as the weather is milder. • Summer (March to May): High temperatures increase the need for air conditioning maintenance and cooling system checks. Long-distance travel during school holidays also leads to higher demand for regular maintenance services like oil changes and brake inspections. 2. Festive Seasons: • Diwali and Dussehra (October to November): These major festivals often coincide with increased spending, leading to higher vehicle maintenance and repair activity as people prepare their cars for travel and festive outings. Many dealerships and service centers offer promotions and discounts during this period. • Other Festivals: Regional festivals like Pongal, Onam, and Ganesh Chaturthi also see spikes in vehicle maintenance activities as people prepare for celebrations and related travel. 3. Economic Factors: • Financial Year-End (March): As the financial year in India ends in March, businesses and individuals often get their vehicles serviced to claim depreciation benefits or to utilize remaining budgets, leading to a spike in service center activity. • Harvest Seasons: In agrarian states, post-harvest periods can see an uptick in aftersales services as farmers invest their earnings in vehicle maintenance. By understanding these trends, automotive aftersales service providers in India can optimize their operations, prepare for seasonal fluctuations, and implement targeted marketing strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and business performance. #AutomotiveAftersales #VehicleMaintenance #ServiceTrends #AutoService #SeasonalMaintenance #CustomerService #AutomotiveIndustry #IndiaAutoMarket #VehicleCare #AutomotiveInsights #ServiceCenters #AutoRepairs #VehicleUpkeep #MarketAnalysis
