An interesting article from McKinsey & Company on current trends and traveller archetypes, around the way we travel, following a survey of more than 5,000 respondents from the UK, Germany, the United States, China and the United Arab Emirates. Within the discovery there are interesting, and some cases, fairly obvious distinctions between Gen Zers, Millennials, Gen Xers and Baby boomers, as well as differing motivations by geographic dispersion. When assessing the insight and findings from the lens of travel insurance, it does add further weight around the need for travel insurance providers to avail tailored and differentiated product solutions that complement and support these customer segments and travel preferences. #travel #vacation #travelinsurance #tripplanning #customersegments #travellerarchetypes #travelsolutions #exploring #adventure #dreamtrip

Travel advisors are in style for GenZ as a record number of them are opting for agents to help book a trip. According to a survey from IBS Software, “38% of millennials and Gen Z are opting to use traditional travel agents rather than booking themselves online. That’s significantly more than the 12% of Gen X and 2 percent of baby boomer respondents who said they use a traditional travel advisor.” Where traditional belief may have once been older generations are more likely to opt for travel agent support, we can now see that’s changing. #Travel #TravelAgents #GenZ
