Discover the new BIEFFE CO s.r.l. and A&E Conveyor Systems spiral buffering and accumulation solutions for cans featured by Intralox Direct Drive Technology. BIEFFE CO s.r.l. spiral belts deliver low back pressure accumulation, bi-directional belt and sprocket design, and high-speed capability of 400 ft per minute (122 m per minute). The Intralox DirectDrive System allows the belt to operate with low tension, preventing premature wear and greatly reducing belt replacement costs. The DirectDrive System spiral technology is a flexible, low-energy solution to increase efficiency in can-making plants that functions both single and bi-directionally. The bi-directional spiral minimizes downtime caused by product changes, absorbs unplanned downtime, features less machine idling, and protects accumulated cans better with no back pressure. In case the pasteurizer fails, it will save the cans from overpasteurization... #bieffeco #handling #conveyors #conveyorsystems #intralox #spiral #spiralsolutions #cocacola #cans #beerindustry #brewery #canshandling

400 ft per minute on a spiral incline or decline is impressive. Is this a single file or mass can speed?

Is the first product to go into the buffer is also the first to go out (FIFO solution) ? how is it implemented into a production line, you still need to have 2 spirale next to each other isn’t it ?
