The language of emotions is the most challenging language to learn. 🚨 The emotional language can only be learnt through interpersonal objects. ✅ Emotions are simply physiolgical signals with the aim of meeting a need. While we can give them names (Feelings) - these names do not encompass the variety or intensity of these signals. The human experience is about understanding how these signals influence behaviour and cognition to meet these needs AND whether these actions and thoughts are adaptive or maladaptive. #emotions #neuroscience
