Last night I ran my Christmas self-care webinar, and the feedback from those that came along was really positive. I really appreciated their honesty and openness in sharing how they are feeling, as there will be so many others that are feeling the same who now feel less alone. I have shared the link to the webinar replay below, in the hope you can share it with your patients, colleagues, friends… who many need some extra support and understanding at this time of year. During the session, I share practical strategies to help patients manage difficult emotions, handle triggers, and create moments of joy amidst the festivities. The aim is to guide them in redefining what Christmas means to them while finding ways to feel more in control. The replay has been carefully edited to protect the privacy of participants, ensuring it’s a safe and accessible resource. Sharing this with your patients could provide them with the tools and reassurance they need to approach the festive season with confidence and self-compassion. You can share the replay with your patients via this link: https://lnkd.in/eAHUgCwx Patients can also access ongoing tips and advice across my social media platforms (details below), where I’m sharing guidance in the lead-up to Christmas to help them through what can be a particularly tough time of year. Encourage your patients to access this valuable resource to feel understood, supported, and equipped during the festive season. Instagram: @ivfpositivityplanner Facebook support group: TTC Support UK

It’s the start of the festive season—although we know some may have started even earlier! While the allure of mince pies and planning for Christmas parties begins, it’s important to remember to be kind to yourself this month. Why not start the month with a simple act of self-care, like setting aside ten minutes each day to breathe deeply, write in a journal, or enjoy a quiet cup of tea? Prioritising small moments for yourself can make all the difference during this busy time. #festiveselfcare #mentalhealthtips #selfcareideas #smallbusinessuk #wellbeingorganisation #christmaswellbeing

Tomorrow I'll be sharing a model to get you through the festive break unscathed! I've been using this concept with great effectiveness to take control and get those boundaries in place BEFORE it all goes Pete Tong with unmet expectations and challenging relations. A manifesto is something I often find useful in client journeys - as a statement about how you wish things to be... an operating manual, a guide, a reference to come back to. A manifesto is great, because in creating a manifesto you also create intention. And with that you generate a momentum, an urge, a need, a movement towards your desired future. As we know, change comes from the inside, and the absolute best thing about creating a manifesto in the coaching space is that it comes from the inside, as it identifies and reflects core values and presents them to the external world in behaviours, thinking, ways of doing. Manifestos are not just for work however, I also create a manifesto with the kids for holiday season - both summertime and wintertime - and they love it. It has been so successful on easing our Christmas I'd like to share the process so come and join me for this month's Wednesday Webinar where we'll look at your intentions for the festive break. 18th December 12pm on zoom. 🎁 Day 15: Making Christmas Parties Trauma Sensitive 🌟 The festive season is all about joy and connection, but it's also a time to ensure our celebrations are thoughtful and inclusive. Here are three simple yet impactful ways to make your Christmas party trauma sensitive: 🌈 Offer Choices and Flexibility Not everyone experiences parties the same way, and that's okay! Provide a range of activity options, diverse food choices, and flexible timings so people can participate in ways that feel comfortable for them. Empowering your team with choices fosters both safety and belonging. 💙 Create Safe Spaces Sometimes, stepping away from the excitement is just what someone needs. Set up a quiet, cosy corner or a private area where anyone can take a breather. These little retreats show you care about emotional well-being as much as festive fun. 🛡️ Communicate Clearly and Provide Support Share all the details upfront - what to expect, the schedule, and any activities that might be intense or surprising. Equip others with a trauma informed mindset, so they're ready to offer support with kindness and understanding. When we plan with empathy, we create celebrations that truly include everyone, making the season brighter for all. ✨ 💬 What are your go-to ideas for creating inclusive and supportive events? Tag someone who inspires you to live with compassion! 🎄🤝 #TraumaSensitiveCelebrations #Inclusive #EmpathyInAction #FestiveWellness #TraumaInformedCare #TraumaSensitive #ChristmasInclusivity #AdventOfEmpathy #TraumaInformedParties #Tips #SeasonOfUnderstanding
