🌸 Helping Women Conceive Isn’t Just My Work—It’s My Passion 🌸 Since 2008, I’ve dedicated my career to supporting women in their health journeys and I love working with all of my clients, in particular those hoping to conceive. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of helping many women achieve a dream that means so much: creating a family. And I’m proud to say that 80% of the women I work with conceive, often after facing underlying health challenges. One of the biggest pieces of the puzzle is balancing hormones naturally. Hormones play a massive role in everything from cycle regularity to emotional wellbeing, and small, natural adjustments can make a powerful difference. Through personalised nutrition, stress relief practices, and techniques that work with your body rather than against it, we can create an environment that’s truly receptive to new life. My Path to Conception programme is designed to support you every step of the way—offering proven methods, expert guidance, and a community of like-minded women. Together, we’ll work on balancing your body, building resilience, and preparing the path for your dream. If you’re considering a natural, nurturing approach to support your conception journey in 2025, I’d love to chat with you. Check out the link below to learn more, and let’s start making your dream a reality. 🌱 (Early Bird discount of £150 ends on Christmas Day - a deposit of £75 secures your spot and your discount) https://lnkd.in/eg5xcZ-w #FertilitySupport #Conception #PathToConception #HalcyonDays

Women's health isn't just a right; it's the pulse of progress 🙌 Cheers to SheThePeople.TV and Gytree for hosting such an impactful event centered on women's wellness, bringing much-needed attention to both mental and physical health. Events like these spotlight an important realization among women: our health often takes a backseat as we juggle roles as mothers, wives, daughters and caregivers. Personally, it was empowering to speak about my autoimmune disorder. As an invisible illness with no outward symptoms, the pain and exhaustion are internal, often misunderstood, and dismissed. When you struggle to walk or feel perpetually fatigued, it’s hard for others, even family, to empathize. Society tends to only validate visible conditions—whether it’s physical pain or emotional abuse—highlighting a deeper issue. Autoimmune disorders, which disproportionately affect women, are often tied to unprocessed emotions. Kudos to Shaili Chopra for curating this forum. Thanks Swarnima Bhattacharya for moderating the session so well. And a big shoutout to Nisha Millet Mekha Thachankary Dr Nandita Iyer Deepika Sharma Bakul Dua Madhu Nataraj for opening up about your experiences. Let's prioritise our physical and mental well-being 🙂 #womenhealth #womenandhealth #worklifebalance

This is going to be my most controversial post so far. I'm going to challenge something that is sensitive and complex. But it is something that needs to be said, because I believe we deserve to search for better solutions. 👉 This version of feminism isn't working for us. 👈 What I'm seeing as a result of our modern feminism tells me we've been tricked again: - Millions of women opting for medicine that cuts them off of their hormones and cycles - More and more women going through medical procedures to conceive because they are unable to get pregnant naturally - Depression and burnout statistics rising up every year for women in the western world - 8 women out of 10 experiencing severe hormonal imbalance (PMS, endometriosis, PCOS, PMDD, difficult menopause, etc) - More isolation than ever in handling business, family, health, and community - The absence of women without makeup or touch-ups on media and the increase of body image disorders diagnosed in young women everywhere and so much more... This version of feminism is pushing us AWAY. Away from our bodies, from our communities, from our real dreams and aspirations, from our intuitive power and authority. Our health is suffering. Our wellbeing is suffering. We are being forced (influenced) into a standard that, once again, isn't fit for women. If hitting the gym one hour per day and drinking green smoothies every morning doesn't cut it for you, you're not alone. I'm using a very trendy stereotype, but you get the gist of it. This lifestyle was written for you... but it wasn't meant FOR you. This version of feminism isn't working. We deserve something that's more real, and effective. I want to create a world where women are connected to their bodies so they can achieve their goals and aspirations without needing to dramatically change who they are and how their bodies function. With their bodies, not at the cost of their health. This issue is way more complex than what I can write in this post, and I would be happy to expand on some of these points. I'm writing this to start the conversation about the need to RECONNECT to ourselves. Instead of searching for solutions outside of ourselves, like we've taught to do for so long. Let's change the narrative so we can offer a version of feminism that will actually make a difference.

❤️ Happy International Women's Day from Global Shapers Munich ❤️ To mark this occasion we hosted at TUM Think Tank the 5th episode of #TheMindfulHour on the topic of #WomensMentalHealth. It was a remarkable evening and conversation with Dr. Lea S., Angela M. and Claire S. moderated by Camila C., with more than 50 participants! 🎉 Here are some key takeaways: ♀️ Women face multiple challenges in their lives that often impact their mental health. They are often burdened with high societal pressures and self-doubts which can lead to issues such as #impostersyndrome. Physical conditions also strongly influence women’s well-being: hormonal fluctuations, pregnancy, miscarriage, menopause, violence and the list does not end here… 💼 The workplace plays a vital role in creating a safe space for women to find support anchors to face such challenges💪. For example, work programs dedicated to mental health awareness can play a vital role in improving employees' well being, and especially women. 👫♂️ Men are essential allies in supporting women's mental health. Some actionable advice: speak up if you suspect abuse, advocate for a friend who can't, and offer practical and emotional support. Let's work together to: - Break the stigma surrounding #mentalhealth discussions. - #Empower women to speak up and create a #safespace for some of the most important topics. - Champion policies & programs that create supportive workplaces and communities. What are your thoughts on women's mental health? Share your ideas in the comments! Thanks to all contributors! Stay tuned for the next episode of The Mindful Hour in April. 🤗 https://lnkd.in/ekv2JE3R #mentalhealth #mentalhealthmatters #iwd #iwd2024 #wellbeing #globalshapers #globalshaperscommunity #tumthinktank #tum #munichevents #meetup #brave

Every Woman Day 2024! 👩💃👷♀️ Today is Every Woman Day 2024, a day to raise awareness about women's health conditions. Our health is extremely important, especially when working in high risk areas such as construction. The day also informs people about women's health conditions and can help women realise that any symptoms they are feeling could potentially be a certain condition and encourages them to visit a doctor. 👩⚕️ Having health conditions such as cancer, PCOS, endometriosis, infertility, postpartum depression and many more, can all take their toll physically and mentally. A lot of them are also under-researched so are more difficult to diagnose due to the lack of research, awareness and resources available. Our worker's health and wellbeing is one of our top priorities and we try to ensure that it is theirs too, so that they can remain safe, healthy and reduce as many of the health related risks on site as we can. 🚧🏗️ To read more about Every Woman Day, click the link. 🔗 #EveryWomanDay #WomansHealth #Construction #Awareness

Practicing self-care–including incorporating some kind of regular movement into your routine if you’re able–is an essential part of maintaining your mental and physical health. So many default caretakers, many of whom are women, are pressured by social norms and uneven divisions of household labor to downplay the importance of their own health in favor of the roles they play for others. In this scenario, carving out time and space to literally care for yourself is no easy task. Still, as Danielle Friedman says, “... Celebrate the movement you are able to fit in. Among the couples she interviewed, Ms. [Eve] Rodsky found that the women who successfully kept up long-term exercise routines were the ones who showed themselves compassion for ebbs and flows along the way.” Giving yourself permission to prioritize self-care (and giving yourself grace when self-care plans go off the rails) in tandem with redistributing the weight of household work can be a great way to assert that your needs matter. Even if it’s only for 5 minutes every few days, even if your movement is a stroll around the block, it’s still worth it to try. You deserve to spend your valuable time in pursuit of your health, happiness, and the creative curiosities that make you YOU (a.k.a. your Unicorn Space).
Women Get Less Exercise Than Men. It’s a Problem.

As we celebrate Women's Health Week in Aotearoa, I’m reminded that while we often focus on the more alarming aspects of kids and social media, we sometimes overlook one of its most obvious but also harmful features: the relentless pursuit of likes. We all remember being teenagers and how much we wanted to fit in and be liked by our peers. Most of us eventually learned that indifference and rejection could be survived, that popularity wasn’t everything, and that having just a few close friends was more than enough. This lesson likely helped us navigate the murky waters of social media today, as we gained the maturity and resilience to do so. Unfortunately, many of our teenagers aren’t getting that same chance, especially when we look at the statistics around teenage girls and mental health. In their pockets, our girls carry a world that constantly tells them they need as many friends as possible to be valued, that they must accumulate as many likes as possible from these friends, and that they should do whatever it takes to achieve those likes. When rejection comes, it’s not just from a few friends—it’s from hundreds, and it hits like a ton of bricks. As parents, we encourage our teens to be themselves and not to worry about whether they’re liked or not, but the world in their pocket is telling them something entirely different. So, who do you think they’re more likely to listen to? Women's health starts with our girls' health, and it’s our responsibility to ensure they grow up feeling confident and valued for who they truly are. This graph is one of many which we share in our presentations and we highlight 2012 as the year that the front facing camera and instagram were widely adopted. Unplugged Rebels NZ. “Why are women expected to do it all — and still stay perfectly healthy?” From managing a home, excelling at work, raising kids, and balancing endless responsibilities, the pressure on women is relentless. Let me share my journey: I evolved from a carefree teen into a professional doctor, completing post-graduation while taking on family responsibilities at a young age. I got married, set up a home, learned cooking and cleaning, balanced work and household duties, got pregnant, raised one child, breastfed, lost sleep, had another child, and juggled parenting with a career. Its almost 2025, and still, women are expected to: 💪 Stay fit — physically and mentally 🏠 Manage households perfectly 👩🍳 Cook delicious meals 👩💻 Excel at work 👩👧👦 Parent children flawlessly Amidst going through all... No wonder women today face a lot of health challenges like heart disease, diabetes, obesity, hormonal imbalances, infertility, cancers, and osteoporosis. Shockingly, even teenagers are developing these issues. But here’s the truth: Women’s health can’t be fixed with medicines alone. We need a holistic approach — one that nurtures the body, mind, and soul. 💡 This is my purpose. I’m on a mission to transform women’s health — empowering every woman to care for herself while nourishing relationships and future generations. 💖 Because when women thrive, the world thrives! Lets spread the message to all women to take up holistic guidance to transform themselves. #womenwellness #weightloss #obesity #pcosreversal #pcossolutions #hypothyroidismcure #naturopathycure #holistichealth #lifestyle #transformation
