Maximizing Light and Color in Commercial Photography In commercial photography, light and color are key to making an image stand out. The way we use light can highlight details, set a mood, and direct attention to the subject. Soft light is great for creating a welcoming feel, while sharper light adds contrast and clarity. Color plays a crucial role in defining the look and feel of a brand. Vibrant colors can create energy, while muted tones offer a sense of calm and sophistication. The right combination of light and color ensures that the product or space is not just photographed, but presented in a way that speaks to its audience. Mastering these elements helps create images that communicate clearly and effectively. #lighting #RealEstateMarketing #BusinessSpaces #RealEstatePhotography #PropertyPhotography #CommercialSpaces #InteriorDesign #OfficeSpaces #ArchitecturalPhotography #CommercialRealEstate #CorporateSpaces #OfficeInspiration #philadelphia #pennsylvania #professionalphotographer #femalephotographers #womanowned #womanownedbusiness #photography #propertyphotography #smallbusiness #smallbusinessowner #supportsmallbusiness #supportwomeninbusiness

I have the huge privilege of working with some amazingly talented #photographers and every now and then, there is a photo produced which absolutely stops me in my tracks. When I saw this photo, my jaw dropped, because to me, this is absolutely magazine cover worthy. Yes, I was pleased with our staging, but it’s the quality of the photography that’s so engaging…the light, the angle, the clarity, the warmth – just gorgeous, thanks to the very talented Joel at Pix Media. The staging/professional photography relationship is very important. What is the point of staging your house beautifully if it’s not represented favourably in photography? When I first started out, I would ask my photographer to do some ‘lifestyle’ shots – focussing on say a beautiful fireplace, an amazing window, or a beautiful vase of flowers, alongside the standard listing shots. I would then use the lifestyle shots in my marketing, because lifestyle sells! But now there is a significant increase in #estateagents also including these lifestyle shots – because they also know – lifestyle sells! Most staging companies will include professional photography in their service, and my advice would be to take that service, or check out the quality of the photographs your Estate Agent produces before you proceed. #landlords #estateagents #sussexproperty #sussexhomes #worthingproperty #sussexestaeagents #stagingsells #homestagingworks #homestagingexamples #homestagingassociation #HomeStaging #hsauk #propertyphotography #propertyphotographyUK #lifestylephotography #homephotography #propertydevelopers #propertyinvestors

Lighting makes all the difference in photography! Photography relies on light and dark. No matter what the subject or mood you want to create you must have some light and some dark (or shadow) to create it. When you consider the lighting for your headshot or portrait you currently have, how does it look? Was it properly lit? Does the lighting create a sense of connection? Interest? Authenticity? Do you look approachable? The attached photo is a studio portrait designed to create a mood. You can seen how the main light creates the strongest, most directly light and the fill light adds to the mood with some softer elements. While the absence of lighting on the background creates a more moody feel for this scene. Lighting matters. Make sure you are working with a photographer who understands the ins and outs of studio lighting when you get your next headshot. #headshots #personalbrand #lighting #photographylighting #portraiture #boston #corporatebrand #corporatephotography

Capturing stunning silhouette photography at night opens up a world of artistic possibilities! 🌌 Start by choosing a strong subject against a light source, like street lamps or city skylines. Remember, low light works best with a wide aperture (f/2.8 or lower) to create that dreamy effect. Adjust your ISO to avoid graininess, but keep it low to maintain clarity. Use manual mode to control exposure—underexpose by 1-2 stops for rich silhouettes. Experiment with angles and compositions to find unique perspectives. Finally, play with post-processing to enhance contrast and detail! #PhotographyLovers #InstaPhotography #BeginnerPhotographer #ProPhotographer #LearnPhotography #PhotoTips #PhotographyCommunity #CreativePhotography #PhotoChallenge #CameraSkills #PhotographyJourney
