I heard this great leadership comment the other day – I’m honest because I’m invested. I think about my Hall of Fame boss, Janice Payton, who was the queen at both. Having honest and direct conversations with our teams is part of being a leader. Sometimes you’re lucky enough to have a team member like Julie Greene, CVA who respectfully and smartly push back on you and help guide you to the best decision for the group.
