From Flight Delays to Flying High: Jet2's Winning Formula Yes, it's another Jet2.com and Jet2holidays—my tenth flight with them, in fact. Why do I keep coming back? Because they’ve earned my trust and loyalty. Sure, it’s easy to be friendly when things are running smoothly. But when there's a problem, that's the real test. We'd just had a brilliant weekend celebrating my mother-in-law’s 75th birthday, still on a high as we arrived for check-in, only to hit a wall—a delay of nearly two hours. But Jet2 staff turned it into a masterclass in customer focus. Instead of grimacing, the Jet2 team delivered the bad news with positivity, owning the issue without excuses. Confidence? Check. Empathy? You bet. She didn't just smile; she tailored her message, directing families to the play area, pointing coffee lovers to cafes, and assuring everyone of regular updates. Later, I approached another Jet2 staffer pacing through the airport, half-expecting a “What do you want?” vibe, but she spun around with a smile, genuinely listened, and gave me a precise update without missing a beat. Happy to help, just like her badge said. And when boarding finally came, as everyone crowded the gangway, that same Jet2 staffer brought calm. She wove through the frustrated mass, boarding passes in hand, organising groups with unwavering positivity. Not once did she lose that smile. In stark contrast, a friend recently faced a huge delay flying from Italy to the US. Zero comms, only whispers in Italian to the few brave enough to ask what was happening. It’s clear to me: Jet2 has mastered the art of turning every moment—even the tough ones—into opportunities to win loyalty. There's a reason I keep coming back.
