You may be wondering whether our industrial valves contribute to greater sustainability. Our answer: 𝗬𝗲𝘀! Among the reasons: the weight minimization of our valves through the deep-drawing production process. The materials for self-acting industrial valves are selected according to the application area and ambient conditions. Solid material is suitable for high-pressure applications and, thanks to its corrosion resistance, for aggressive media. Cast valves are used in high-temperature areas, welded constructions are used for large nominal widths and high volume flows. If valves are manufactured from deep-drawn steel sheets, this allows significantly lower material usage compared to cast or solid material. Thin-walled sheets are manufactured in several steps to form deep-drawn pots, which then serve as the body for the valve. The deep-drawing production process is significantly more resource-efficient due to: ✔ less material usage, e.g. due to sheet thicknesses of 0.5 to 10.0 mm ✔ less material wastage compared to valve bodies made of solid material 👉 In addition, this type of production generates very little CO2 In a nutshell: The reduction in weight of our valves leads to a reduction in material consumption and the associated environmental impact. Everything about benefits of using HDPE material: Strength-to-Weight Ratio HDPE is durable yet lightweight, consequently suitable for parts that require such characteristics, especially automotive and aerospace parts. Processability HDPE is highly machinable, allowing for precise cutting, drilling, and shaping, especially with CNC technologies. Additionally, its high machinability reduces tool wear and speeds up production, making it suitable for prototyping and mass production. Chemical Resistance The marine industry relies on HDPE because of its resistance to chemicals, acids, bases, or other fluid systems. Hence, it is applicable in the production CNC-machined components in environments containing such corrosive substances. Impact Resistance HDPE can absorb impacts without cracking or breaking, making it a good material for parts in structurally demanding environments. Consequently, industries such as construction and agriculture use HDPE to make components that must withstand physical stress. Low Moisture Absorption HDPE does not absorb moisture, which means it won’t swell or degrade when exposed to water. Hence, the material is often used for piping systems or parts in wet/marine environments.

Well protected...!! 🛡️ Like any other heavy-duty equipment, vertical roller mills have parts with wear liners. Wear liners are items used to protect machines and equipment from all kinds of damage. Wear liners are abrasion-resistant steel plates, steel-aluminum, or mild steel with metallic or ceramic alloys. Why are wear liners critical? We highlight three reasons: ✅ Prevents excessive and premature wear ✅ Avoid damage such as scratches, cracks, burrs, etc. ✅ Increase or prolong the life cycle of a part or component.
