Master of Science in Geotechnical Engineering

Our latest paper, "3D-Printed Geocells in Footing Systems: Comprehensive Physical and Numerical Studies on Scaling and Performance under Centric and Eccentric Loading Scenarios,"co-authored by Prof. Dr. Ayhan Gurbuz and Kaan Yünkül, has been published in Transportation Geotechnics. The findings offer new perspectives for optimizing the application of 3D-printed geocells in geotechnical engineering. They address the longstanding challenge of scaling geocell-reinforced systems in small-scale model tests. The paper is now available at the following link (50 days' free access): https://lnkd.in/dUcDeVec #Geocellreinforcedfootings, #3Dprintedgeocells, #Stripfootings, #Centricandeccentricloading, #PLAXIS3D, #Scaleeffect
