This is a great example of a brand using PR to their benefit when making a packaging change. Saucy Brew Works has also done a good job highligting and bringing forth a clear and versatile distinctive brand asset that wil resonate with the drinker at various touchpoints (digital, in-store, on shelf and display, and in-hand). Well done!

    About a week ago, I got to experience the behind-the-scenes of a brewery at Saucy Brew Works in Ohio City for the labeling and packaging of Jack & the Optimist's "Shades of You" beer! The seventh artist to get their feature beer from Saucy Brew Work's artist collective series. It was a cool opportunity, and I'd like to thank Eric and Marissa at Saucy for the opportunity and their help with this process. It's been over a month since I've had this marketing and promotional role for the band, and while I'm still learning things, it's been an insightful and fulfilling experience. It's a great group, and we have a fantastic support system. The show celebrating the beer release is June 8 at 8 p.m. at Saucy Brew Works in Ohio City! Our primary goal is to pave the way for an exciting and visually dynamic future by elevating what has been at the heart of Saucy for over 6 years – our iconic “drop” logo. Our two core beers, Juicy Asap and Love You, Bye, feature radiant colors around the 'drop', while seasonal releases will incorporate color within it, creating a distinct and cohesive brand identity. The showcasing of the 'drop' also reveals a hidden element often missed – an outline of our favorite snifter glass. We raise a glass to this next chapter and to our supportive Saucy Posse.
