Having attended almost 5 international news events over the past months in different corners of the world, this is how i see the media landscape in Uzbekistan. With huge and ambitious goals in mind for many years ahead, ill be happy to see like-minded and initiative ppl on board of Daryo Central Asia & Afghanistan. We are a considerably young organization (12-y.o.), compared to world giants founded more than a century ago. Nevertheless, the world is rapidly changing, transformation is everywhere, and who knows—maybe in 10, 20, or 50 years, media companies from our region will become formidable competitors to today's media giants.

The future is Africa.

The transformation of Africa in global leadership will depend on the youth,teens and young adults that are reaching into digital ecosystems and blossoming into creatives, innovators, visionaries and leaders. There are only 85 data centers in Africa. There is need to build micro sovereign data centers in every community. Jennifer Cotter Otieno Nyapara W. On June 6, 2023, Russia destroyed the Kakhovka Dam, triggering a humanitarian crisis and massive flooding. To document the heroic efforts of emergency responders and share unknown stories of resistance in occupied areas, OTI supported directors Serhii Zeinalov and Maksym Khotilenko to produce a 1-hour documentary film, Save. In Khotilenko’s words, “The main goal of the project is to show the strength, unity, and self-sacrifice of Ukrainians.
