Hey everyone, it's Jake Hall, the manufacturing millennial. We are here in Orlando, FL at Fab Tech and I'm talking with Scalable Robotics. They're bringing some new innovation to the robotic industry with both industrial and collaborative robots that's making it easier for workers to program. And there's no other better person to talk with than Dan Patrick, the VP here as Scalable Robotics. Dan, how are you doing today, man? How you doing? Doing great. So, you know, talk to us about what is making a Scalable Robotics is so interesting in the game changer and the robotic space. Yeah. So we're allowing a welder to operate an industrial robot. And where the Notepad no code solution for industrial robots. And so how is that possible? What are you doing to make it so a person could go in a company that's never used robots before to be able to be introduced to industrial collaborative robots? Yeah. So the reason why we're Notepad is because our process is we scan, we teach and then we fine tune. So what that does is it eliminates the need for a traditional programmer. It reduces programming time by the order of magnitude. And then we also allow the robot to. Just for part and seem variation, which is really unique. Absolutely. And So what do you have in your hand here? Is it a one? Is that I teach pendant? What are you calling? Because I feel like there's a lot of magic that comes to this device. Yeah. So what are we? We're a software that actually a hardware enabled software platform that can be attached to an ABB robot. So what we have here is in this camera box is a 3D camera. I have in my hand a wand and the camera senses the wand and a welder can point and click. A wild path up and and get a, a really good first pass yield. So what is it like working with that partnership with ADB? We have AB industrial robot behind us. We have a a Gopher and the front. What's that partnership like for you guys? They've been incredible. So not only do they provide the robots for us to do development on the technical resources at ABB has the sales and marketing horsepower that AB has, has been extremely beneficial to us. And I look at there's 550,000 welders in manufacturing today. Of that which the average age of those waters is 53 years old. So we have an aging workforce that's leaving the industry-leading manufacturing. But we still need to produce, We still need to make parts, We still need to Weld. And by creating solutions like this, automation and flexible automation, is that key? Yeah. So we're not replacing the welder. What we're doing is we're giving a welder a brand new tool and we're taking the burden off the welder physically, but still allowing the welder to use the welders eye to really, you know, create a custom Weld path. Based on what they see there in the moment, absolutely we're de risking a lot of manufacturers who can still stay competitive, still manufacture locally and still make great quality parts.
