Frontiers 2024 ✅ New York University 📍 May 9, 2024 Endless Frontier Labs (EFL) is a startup accelerator run out of NYU that is open to startups from around the world. On Thursday, the 54 graduating companies from the 8-month long cohort presented 5 minute capstone presentations. The energy in the room was incredible; it’s not everyday you find yourself in a melting pot of innovation. Dozens of companies representing locations from India to NYC presented their ventures to a room filled with distinguished faculty, scientists, investors, entrepreneurs, technologists, and AI enthusiasts. I was blown away by the credibility, diversity, and qualifications across founding teams and mentor pools. One founder had a previous 9-figure exit under her belt, another presented a startup with $7M in ARR, and others had paid pilots locked in. Excited to track the progress of these impressive companies and teams as they continue to make strides in their respective areas! This was my first time attending this event but certainly won’t be my last (shoutout to Scott Alpizar who put it on my radar). A bit more information on EFL: The 2024 Cohort took place from October - May. This year’s cohort of 54 graduating companies were selected from a pool of nearly 1,400 applicants representing over 60 countries worldwide. They don’t require relocation or any NYU affiliation. With no fees or equity upon admission, it’s an incredible program for founders looking to get guidance from some of the best mentors in the world. The hidden but to be expected cost: sweat equity. Stanford Seed Spark South Asia is an online startup program run by Stanford Seed, which is part of the Stanford University Graduate School of Business. This program is open to tech and non-tech companies with annual revenue (not net profit/loss) of USD 1000 - USD 250,000. Companies with annual revenue of 100,000 in local currency may apply. Pre-revenue deep-tech startups can apply. Experience Stanford GSB's world-class curriculum and innovative thinking, which has shaped some of the most successful companies in Silicon Valley, at a fraction of the cost of Stanford University's executive education programs. Founders also receive 1:1 mentorship, connect with the Stanford Seed network, and receive a graduation certificate from Stanford Seed. The final day to submit the FI nomination form is the 7th of July, 2024, by 5 PM IST at the latest. Founders cannot apply directly to this program. I can’t believe how far we’ve come since starting the Runway Startups Program at Cornell Tech in September. Our cohort of 8 CEOs has formed an incredible bond—truly like-minded researchers-turned-entrepreneurs navigating the transition from academia to business. I couldn’t imagine taking this leap without these folks by my side. We’re all driven by a common goal: to bring innovative technologies out of the lab and into the hands of those who can benefit from them.
