This year has been a rollercoaster of learning, building, and collaborating, and it’s been nothing short of amazing. This year, I dove headfirst into hackathons, and they pushed me to think creatively under pressure. From brainstorming innovative solutions to implementing them in record time, every hackathon was an adrenaline-filled learning experience. A highlight? Participating in INNOVISION hackathon , where my team built HealthMate—a solution that I’m genuinely proud of! Projects That Made an Impact: At Scaler, I had the chance to work on projects that were more than just code—they were opportunities to solve real-world problems such as Food Pharmer: An app that analyzes ingredient labels using OCR to ensure food safety, integrating tech to make healthier choices accessible to everyone. What makes Scaler special isn’t just the projects or the hackathons—it’s the people. My peers, mentors, and faculty have been a constant source of inspiration. Late-night brainstorming sessions, debugging marathons, and celebrating wins together have created bonds I’ll cherish forever. As 2025 begins, I’m excited to take the skills, lessons, and confidence I’ve gained to new heights. 2 weeks after announcing our latest acquisition, we have just about settled back in and are ready to meet the team, customers and new partners! For integrations like these, we take the team onto a journey where we can deep dive into what this next step means, how it can change the team members' careers and how it will expand upon our business at Redsquid. With OptivITy, it means we welcome 12 new team members, it means we get new and enhanced networking skills we didn’t have before, it means our Microsoft engineers doubled overnight, it means we will enter the film and production industry and work on global projects with some of the most well-known brands. For the team across the board, it means upskilling, introductions to new technologies and rapid career enhancement for those who want it. For Redsquid it means a new exciting chapter. It means introducing the latest technologies to our customers. It means creating a culture based on innovation. It means bringing another part of the industry into our sustainable brand. It means making a difference to more customers. It means teamwork. It means innovation.  It means tech. 𝗦𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗲𝗿 𝗝𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗲𝘆: 𝗔 𝗗𝗲𝘁𝗼𝘂𝗿, 𝗕𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗗𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗺 𝗟𝗶𝘃𝗲𝘀 𝗢𝗻! Life occasionally presents unexpected challenges. I dedicated myself to preparing for Scaler School of Technology's 4-year CS program, excelling in the NSET and interviews to secure an offer letter. I was overjoyed at the opportunity. However, due to unforeseen circumstances, I had to pursue a different path, which was truly disheartening. 😞 Nonetheless, abandoning my aspiration of a career in computer science was never an option! That's why I'm thrilled to be part of Scaler's YIIP 2.0 program now. It might not be the exact route I had envisioned, but it's an amazing opportunity that continues to fuel my determination with every obstacle I conquer.💪 The greatest part of this journey? The incredible Scaler community on LinkedIn! Witnessing fellow YIIP participants taking charge and achieving their objectives is incredibly inspiring. It serves as a constant reminder that we're all in this together, even in a virtual setting.
