Ever feel like you're creating into a void, with your work underappreciated or your voice unheard? For creators, finding the right community can be a game-changer. A place to get inspired, get vulnerable, and get supported by others who intimately understand the unique joys and hurdles of the creative path. Just look at the impact it had on John Green and the "Nerdfighters" community around his Crash Course videos... When John Green first started making videos about books and life on his YouTube channel Crash Course in 2007, he had no idea the community it would spark. At first, it was just Green making educational videos from his basement in Indianapolis. But over time, a passionate community of "Nerdfighters" began to form around his content and positive messaging. Green and his fans created spaces online to discuss the videos, share creative works, and support each other's pursuits. What started as a one-man educational channel bloomed into a global community of people committed to learning, creating, and fighting to decrease world suck. This engaged community propelled many of Green's creative endeavors over the years. His novels like The Fault in Our Stars became massive bestsellers thanks to the Nerdfighter fan base. They helped fund creativity-driven projects like his podcast and annual festivities like Project for Awesome. More than audience members, Green's community became creative collaborators. Fan-made art, videos, charities, and meet-ups emerged organically from this engaged tribe. For Green, finding this community transformed his work from a solo creative outlet into an inspiring movement that touches millions worldwide. It's a powerful example of how the right community can amplify a creator's voice and impact. And that's the transformative power of creator communities. Finding your tribe can elevate your work, amplify your voice, and provide enriching collaboration opportunities. That's why I've built a thriving online community just for creators like you. A space to connect with fellow creators, swap feedback, learn from experts, find motivation, and celebrate each other's wins along the way. Ever wanted to spend more time being creative, but your life gets in the way? In our hectic lives, finding time for creativity can feel impossible. Many of us have experienced the frustration of a stifled creative journey, feeling misunderstood or stuck without support. #Artist_in_Your_Own_Residence – pioneered by #Seeds_Ltd in 2014 and revitalized by the AiYOR community at Founders and Mentors in June 2024 – offers a solution. This initiative provides a low-pressure opportunity to overcome the obstacles preventing you from exploring your creative side. Imagine dedicating time to your creative dreams with the support of a like-minded community. The AiYOR scheme runs annually, giving "artists" (broadly defined to include anyone pursuing a creative project) the chance to allocate time for their work. Participants are paired with "soul friend" buddies, who are also artists, to support each other through the creative process. Starting this year, AiYOR will host FREE monthly online sessions to introduce the mentoring scheme, explain its workings, and show you how to get involved. Join us today (on 19 June 2024 at 19:00 hrs BST • 14:00 hrs EDT • 11:00 hrs PDT), to bring your artistic and creative gifts and learn more about how AiYOR can help you achieve your creative goals. #Link_in_comments Are you ready to make time for your creativity and join a supportive community?

1. So I’m turning 35 in a few weeks. For my birthday,I want to gift myself a side business. For the next 30 days,I’ll be building the product and sharing the journey with you guys. 2. I dont know as yet the type of product I will build. But I do know I want it to be centered around friendship and family, strengthening ties etc. As I leave the youth bracket, family and friendship has been in my mind a lot. I’d get married but that’s a little drastic and capital intensive. 3. The product should be a mix of a bit of tech and a non tech component. 4. I’d be happy to partner with a corporate, but It’d be better to have them after. 5. I really want to prove that creativity and innovation aren’t as complex as we think. 6. I am probably going to make use of some ideas I have seen and incorporate them. 7. Join me and let’s do this. Here are our hashtags. #SideHustleIn30Days #BWcreativityChallenge Shall we? We start counting tomorrow Wednesday 20 March 2024. We will have our first update tomorrow.

What is neurodiversity? To understand neurodiversity, we need to first understand biodiversity. Here's a 3 minute video from me, using my son's lego set (complete with a guitar playing mandolorian) as a massive metaphor. --------- Hello I’m Sascha, 👋 founder of we the creators. It's okay if we invite one or two artists for entertainment, but why don't the Rakan Muda or Majlis Belia focus more on bringing in people who can inspire, such as Adi Putra (Mathematics Expert), Mat Kamil (who works on wireless power for space & the moon), and many others? They would provide new insights for the youth to become more successful. Youth doesn't just mean entertainment; youth should be about individuals who bring new innovations for the future. I still remember one Youth Day event where Baby Shima was invited, and I wondered, why Baby Shima? Why not an artist with a more meaningful background, like Najwa Latif or someone with a strong educational background like Dr. Soo Winci, Amir Johari, or others? The role of Majlis Belia or Rakan Muda is to shape the next generation based on a good foundation, not according to their own standards.

🎄 We believe in the transformative power of creativity — and Christmas might just be where it begins. Many of the world’s greatest cultural icons including artists, pop stars, and filmmakers credit a single Christmas gift, like a camera or paint set, as the catalyst for their journey. 🌟 🇪🇺 In Europe, Christmas spending has steadily grown over the past decade, reaching €620 billion in 2023 (up from €450 billion in 2014). This reflects not only the joy of giving but also the immense opportunity to invest in gifts that inspire future creators. 🎁 Why Christmas matters... Creative industries are a significant driver of global economic growth. By fostering creativity at its earliest stages, we open doors to the next wave of cultural innovators. This festive season, let’s think about creativity as a long-term investment. The right gift today could become the spark for tomorrow’s groundbreaking artist or visionary entrepreneur. Merry Christmas!

Yesterday was International Youth Day, and I want to take this opportunity to celebrate and highlight the inspiring, youth-led team behind MyArteLab: Chidinma Tolani, Innocent Okeke, joshua awom and myself. We each came from different backgrounds but were united by a common goal: to solve the challenges content creators face in today’s digital world. Here’s what we noticed: Existing social networking platforms are fragmented and fail to provide a specialized, decentralized ecosystem for content creators. These platforms often act as intermediaries, taking a large portion of creators' earnings, which limits their ability to network, collaborate, and earn fairly. This problem drove us to pool our diverse skills and expertise to build MyArteLab, a decentralized mobile app designed to empower content creators. We aim to create a platform where creators can connect, collaborate, and monetize their work more effectively, moving beyond the limitations of existing platforms. We are committed to building an inclusive, equitable, and sustainable space for content creators worldwide. What started as a simple idea has grown into a project nearing the launch of our Minimum Viable Product (MVP). This post is a tribute to our fantastic team, working tirelessly for the greater good. Thank you, Tolani, Innocent, and Joshua, for your dedication and commitment to making a positive impact on society. “The people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world are the ones who do.” – Steve Jobs If you’re interested in learning more about our mission and the work we’re doing, visit our landing page: www.myartelab.com.
