At IDR Law, we believe in the power of our clients' experiences. They are not just stories, but integral parts of our operations, showcasing how we strive to exceed expectations and provide exceptional service. One of our clients shares their experience dealing with a particularly challenging dispute case, which revolved around the will of their late husband. Our team, led by Richard Thomas CTAPS and Daniela Parravano, worked tirelessly to guide our client through their case. As you'll read, our client was not only relieved but also deeply grateful for the outcome, a powerful testament to the positive impact of IDR Law. Come and see my colleague partner Justin Weare participating in the discussion on running multi-jurisdiction offshore litigation - a considerable part of my team’s caseload - and sharing insights on effective multi-jurisdictional instruction and collaboration #blakemorgancommerciallitigation #commerciallitigation #blakemorgan #LIDW24
Now that the dust has settled a little after a fantastic ThoughtLeaders4 FIRE | TL4FIRE event in Vilamoura last week, it's time to get really stuck in to planning for London International Disputes Week (LIDW), which is just over the horizon. The week always brings a fantastic buzz to legal London, and I'm really looking forward to catching up with contacts from near and far, as well as speaking on a panel on the afternoon of Friday 7 June. My contributions will be mercifully diluted by a fantastic line-up of co-speakers: Justin Weare from Blake Morgan, Harriet Ter-Berg from Walkers Cayman, Mathew Newman from Ogier Guernsey, and Gatehouse Chambers's very own Charles Raffin. The talk will (hopefully) provide some insight into the process of running litigation involving offshore jurisdictions, and explore some of the issues that can arise when working in a cross-border team. There is also an added bonus to being in the very last seminar slot of the week - plenty of opportunity for productive networking and breathing a sigh of relief after a busy few days.
