I want to remind everyone that as we enter next week, not everybody celebrates Thanksgiving. For many of us it is for moral and ethical reasons, for others there it may be due to lack of family/friends in their area etc. I do not believe in pushing my personal views regarding something like this, but if you are interested I will link an article in the comments.

Goals for this week: 1. Finish goals for 2025. ↳This includes creating milestones and when I would like to reach them. 2. Close up some loose ends before Thanksgiving. ↳I need to provide some communication & updates to current clients to plan well for December. 3. Reach out and schedule a couple of meetings for next week. ↳Probably today because of the Thanksgiving holiday later this week. 4. Enjoy Thanksgiving ↳Watch football, eat great food, and hang out with family. What about you? What does your week look like? And are you celebrating Thanksgiving?

You’re familiar with Black Friday, but have you ever heard of Brown Friday? We asked a few team members to take a guess what it means, and after last night's big Cleveland Browns win, we wanted to make sure we set the record straight! For those of you that don't know, Brown Friday is the busiest day of the year for plumbers, but not for the reason you might be thinking! 😅💩 Plumbers are often called out to clear blockages the day after Thanksgiving because people poured grease and food leftovers down the drain. Let this be your PSA to not make this mistake 🦃🍗 Stick around to watch the video we made for our client RIDGID Tools to make sure the plumbers are prepared. #engageadcom #agencylife #ridgidtools #brownfriday #plumbinghumor

For those of you going into Foods-giving Don’t forget to stretch 🙆 For those of you working those Black Friday Queues Don’t forget to stretch 🤸 Just like how the Thanksgiving stuffing is endless 🦃 - so is the queue. It’s easy to push yourself too far to tackle everything, but just like leftovers, the queue will still be there if you take some rest and come back. Unless your in-laws eat them all 🙄 Either way! Remember to take breaks, and take care of yourselves. Take it easy 💆 You got this! #thanksgiving #blackfriday #customersupport P.S. You have any holiday traditions?

I talk a lot about sales—strategies, goals, growth—but sales doesn’t define me. In fact, your vocation, whatever it may be, shouldn’t define you either (with a few notable exceptions). Your job is there to provide you with the means to support what truly matters: your family, your loved ones, your life outside of work. But not everyone has the same blessings. Some don’t have the luxury of a family to gather with. Some don’t have the luxury of a job that allows them the time to spend with loved ones. If you have either or both, take a moment to pause and be thankful. Celebrate those blessings. Reflect on the time, energy, and love you pour into your family and loved ones. Thanksgiving is a day to be fully present, laugh, share stories, and cherish every moment. Work is what we do; it’s not who we are. And because of this, I won’t be posting the rest of this week; I’m choosing to be present with my loved ones. If I could give one piece of advice this Thanksgiving week: cut down on the ancillary activities if you can. Make room for what matters most. Wishing you all a warm, love-filled, and joyful Thanksgiving. Let’s hold gratitude in our hearts for the gifts we have.

Christmas is around the corner ;) 🎃🎄 One thing that always amazes me in North America is how early we start gearing up for major holidays like Halloween and Christmas. The decorations go up weeks (even months) ahead of the actual event! 🎃👻🎄 This year, I was visiting family in Alabama in late July, and I was shocked to see almost nothing left in stores for back-to-school—yet shelves were already filling with holiday items. Fast forward to today, and I just saw one of my neighbors putting up their Christmas tree... While it’s fun to get in the holiday spirit early, it also poses some interesting challenges, especially in logistics and supply chain management. In North America, retailers and businesses have to order and adjust inventory much sooner to meet this early demand. Timing is everything! What do you think? Are we getting into the holiday spirit a bit too soon, or is it just part of the excitement? 🎅🤔
